A 40 mile run and all that we can do out there is about 80 gallons. A long run (100 miles) and fishing all day is about 140 gallons. We are just out of range of the 115 nm spots with our on board fuel of 245 gallons.
You should try to get a pair of beanbags for your crew, they will thank you. I love mine. We routinely make 3 hour (75-80 mile) runs out to the Florida middle grounds from Tarpon Springs.
Good job. This is one of the few amateur videos of a running contender that does a decent job at putting the viewer on the boat (virtual experience). Your engine shots and bow shots while running gives a good perspective to the viewer.
