Your leg looks great brother! I had mine off a year ago... be proud of it. Learn jokes about one legged people and have fun!!! My right leg has to come off this coming fall and I'm good with it. I was in a motorcycle accident august 18th 2010, so I'm pretty new to this prosthetic game. But I'm learning. Thanks for the tip on going up the stairs sideways, my knee hurts when I have to bend it so much to go up straight. I still have my temporary leg so I'm wearing 34plies worth of socks...... There's nothing gross about your stump. It looks as if it has healed well, is a good length for a prosthesis, and I'd massage it for you any day. Best of luck!
