If you are going to keep this owl you need to start feeding it with frozen/thawed rat or gopher pieces, its an owlet and growing. It needs bone and fur in it diet. Proceed meat is alright for now, but you really should be getting it on a natural diet. Also check with your local laws, because that owl needs to see a vet, and if you take it without proper documents they can report you, take the owl away and fine you for keeping it.

Hey, Falconer here, um actually an owlet like that would only need a small amount of meat, so they where right. But the chick does need mice and other small animals to eat not just normal meat such as beef, also needs more care. I think they just need to look up some care info and they're all set for a cool new loyal pet.
