I am from st. johns and the boy is going to be eleven this year, so no he didnt get the deah penalty. He is sentenced to therapy and probation for life. He is being home schooled because no school feels comfterable having him, so he is kind of exciled. I moved out of town, but my family tells me that he was released to his mother and only goes out sometimes. They do thier shopping out of town, but the people dont seem to mind his presence though. Everyone is just sad only.
Here is an update if anyone is interested. The boy is living with his mother and gramma in st. johns. He is in therapy and is being home schooled (public school doesnt want him). The mother erin only takes him out if needed but they do thier shopping out of town. St. johns people seems to be ok with this. St. johns people dont have a good reputation in the community. I can say this because I am from st. johns. So I thought that it would be a problem like forming a rade like the james bulger case

With my conclusion about the step mother as a woman myself I think there was something going on inside the home that no one knew about. Think about it they were newly weds and tiffany had to care for his son because the mother didnt. I think the little boy was angry at his father for letting tiffany distreat him. it was said that tiffany is lucky she wasnt home.

Children are not born evil they just dont wake up in the morning and decide to kill something had to be going on. Often there is abuse that goes undetected. I was abused when I was a child and no one ever knew about it.
An 8 year old does not know what he does. it also says the same thing in the bible under the 10 commands in exodus. If someone does not intentually or does not know what they do in gods eyes they are blameless. I believe that nothing that children do is there fault as adults we need to take responsibility for thier actions. Things that might seem small to you or me seem monumental to him. It's all about his perception and he reacted to something, big or small, with an 8 year old's reaction. You can't hold him accountable as you would an adult. People love to circumvent the logic and jump straight to the death penalty; it's ridiculous.

An 8 year old does not know what he does. it also says the same thing in the bible under the 10 commands in exodus. If someone does not intentually or does not know what they do in gods eyes they are blameless. I believe that nothing that children do is there fault as adults we need to take responsibility for thier actions. They are after all only children who have not mentally reached the point when they completely understand everything. Human brains are fully developed at age 20.

Well im sorry for your decision then. However the boy is still alive he was released to his mother and is still living in st. johns. The people are ok with this, though he only comes out sometimes. He is paying for his crime his life as a person is over. I dont know about you but Id rather die then live a life of regreat, solitude, excile........If you had any compassion left in you you would understand that sometimes it is a cry for help. He is in therapy and probation.

@shibz1234567 The gun could have been loaded and ready to go, but if it wasn't it's not rocket science to load it and safety is usally marked, so it's not hard to switch it. I do agree that he shouldn't have had a gun or access to one. But the whole gun law thing you said at the end doesn't make sense. I mean, you can try to outlaw them, that doesn't mean everyones going to follow the rules. Sort of like drugs, may be against the law, but it doesn't stop people from using them

I think he was angry at the stepmother tiffany she wasnt very kind to him. His mother didnt want him so thats why his father and his new wife had him. Im from st. johns and people said that the step mother was lucky she wasnt there at the time.
