My dear brother in Islaam, Saddam Hussein was not a believer in any teachings of the Sunnah as well. A popular misconception. He adopted teachings from the Ba`thism sect. It is this very rare and communist like belief. He may have prayed like a Sunni, but these people believe in something totally different. As far as him repenting before death, all everyone can say is Allaahu Alim.

These Shia are really something else though.

Subhaanallaah I never knew that bro. Jazakallahu khairan for this rare information. Alhamdulillaah I never spread this misconception and told anyone that he was Sunni.

I just mentioned him because it's really furious these days to see shia abusers killing our dear true Sunni Muslims and making conflict between Sunnis. Which makes you admire Saddaam's control over the shia in his ruling days.

Although Saddaam commited to many sins, he did really good things in his last years.
