  • Somebody should have their ass kicked for letting that cage get so filthy.

  • stick ur finger inside the cage.

  • Never more...

  • did u see it bury its food! p.s i hate to see animals in cages unless they NEED to be there.

  • @revelacia yes, he's saving some for later, when it gets good and rancid just the way they like it! lol! I've spent many hours watching these interesting, intelligent creatures. They hide food and come back to prey on the insects, etc. that gather around it. Talk about using tools!

  • I'm getting one of these as a pet. U mad?

On a more serious note.... I'll make sure it gets EVERYTHING it needs. I'll make it exercise to compensate it for not being able to fly in captivity.

  • There's a possibility these birds were injured, and were not deemed releasable :(

  • who is morrigan

  • @niceshotjones Morrigan is the Celtic godess of war and death, usually seen with crows and ravens

  • They should never be kept behind bars. they deserve respect, this is cruel.

  • Poor thing :(

  • he has Ravens AND Peacocks <3333333333

  • how is the comprehesion of words from ravens? u teach one and he says it for a while and then forgets, and next day u can make them say something new?

  • °<

  • It's very rude of you to watch him stash his treasures!! :) I'm surprised he didn't respond to the peacock's call in the background...very keyed in on the whistle.

  • Dude, why do you keep whistling at that bird? You make him want to kill you.

  • this zoo is shit. . . really porr contitions

  • What filthy conditions!! . . . Where is this poor guy locked up, anyway ~ and WHY!!??

  • What a funny chap. There are many ravens where I live, I will try to talk to them now with a whistle :-)

  • It is very lovely.

  • If he could talk i think he would have said "OH for F#ck sakes would you stop whistling, It's F#cking irritating"

  • @mattycolbourne thats the bird whistiling

  • poor thing wants to be free

  • wow that's sad to watch.

poor raven, deserves a larger cage.

    well....would deserve freedom!

  • lol that raven eats more than a man from the place I am from, no wonder we got so many weaklings here. Nice video and glorious bird by the way.

  • Amazing how he or she buries the food.

  • poor raven....he was filmed in Kharkov Zoo ...,-is it a pretty bad ! example how animals are kept in Russia....? or whats the purpose?Their permission to keep birds like the raven includes keeping the cage clean! This cage is a prison !

  • Prisom is prison, clean or not.

btw Kharkov is Ukraine...well, it's even worse

  • We just hate you for imprisoning that bird.

Maybe we find a 5 qm cell for you humans, too, and then let y o u live within your excrements and throw in the food.

    destesting.

  • It's pretty sad when the cage is so filthy that the raven can hide his food in a pile of dirt. CLEAN THE CAGE!!!!!!!!! Give the poor thing something to do! This is really sad.

  • Brenna, I don't think it's so much that the cage is so filthy that it can hide its food in the dirt, but that the floor IS dirt. Which compared to concrete that other zoos offer their animals, is probably a better alternative considering the situation.

  • Maybe it can't fly and at least its being fed.A pair or ravens were in my trees in the backyard last year but didn't make a nest one a tree.

  • agreed. Whoever owns the place does a poor job of keeping it clean.

  • if you whant to see alot of ravens come here and you have alot then you whant them in a chage :D

  • very cool, my uncle had captured an abandoned baby and raised it as his own. not cage though, he chilled out in the yard all his life. my uncle lives in a very rural area in a small cabin. the raven, affectionately names "Shenanigan" can say words including but not limited to Ryan, Coin, and Pretty. it is a shame they keep such an intelligent bird in a cage though, he's obviously bored. he seems to pant alot so he must be too hot as well.

  • Panting is can also be a sign of stress with birds, but without more info of the environment, it's hard to tell which it really is.

  • Too bad this person is keeping such a highly intelligent and social bird in such a filthy and unstimulating evironment.

  • It breaks my heart to see this intelligent bird in a cage. I recommend a poem by Mary Oliver "The Kookaburras. If the "owners of this bird had any corrage or wisdom they would give this bird its freedom immediarely.

  • This bird might be imprinted on humans, and wouldn't survive if it were set free.

  • then its saying you are fuckd forever?? goes thaTS WHAT YOU TOLD THE RAVEN? open life force dont control others ..

  • You don't have to tell a raven if it's imprinted; any wild animal that is raised from infancy by humans, because of disability, disease or lack of an animal mother, may become imprinted on human beings. Sometimes they do not learn how to hunt, find food for themselves, or learn how defend themselves. How do you know how this raven feels? It may be perfectly happy because humans are all it knows.

  • imprinted is your opinion and yes humans know how to help but worst is creating just an idea out of nothing that this life should be held as like a object because out of that nothing much comes so please no not trying to capture lifes meaning within a box/force

  • wow all these people crying over a bird in a cage... what a waist of time lol id end up killing the dumb animal

  • so then who's the dumb one, wouldn't that be you?

  • stupid dull people

  • mna humans are just a cancer it should be the corvids who rule this planet they are highly inteligent and dont fuck the planet up or start wars like we do, and also set the raven free its wrong to put such a great creature in a pen

  • start the betterment of the world by killing yourself first

  • America! LOL! Kidding!

  • woah thats awesome

  • Ravens does not belong behind bars. They are holy animals. Atleast to me and my beliefs.

  • Are you perchance Wiccan?

  • Nope, I am a believer of the Aesirs. There is no real word for it, I think, I just know some call it Asatru in english. (There might be a real word for it, but since I'm from Sweden I'm not familiar with all the foreign words)

  • @Maniac3931 no offense or anything just out of curiosity....what is your religon?

  • @Maniac3931 while i respect your beliefs, that is like a hindu saying, you shouldn't keep cows in barns, cus they are holy to my beliefs, im sure the owner lets his bird out regularly.

    cheers :)

  • @Maniac3931 shut it

  • @Maniac3931 Odinism?

  • @necrum777 They're holy to me too--I worship Morrigan. : )

  • @Maniac3931 they should stay @ freewill indeed

  • @Maniac3931 How so? I'm not trying to be a wise guy, but wanting to learn.

  • I like it when he hides some of his meat under the food dish at the end.

  • Why is he in jail?? I wonder what he did?

  • That's pretty funny! The raven, which is known for its croaks and raspy calls, does a better job of whistling than the person behind the camera!

  • I wish he could be free.

  • @PLAYAGIRL10 its an animal refuge which means they probably took him in when was young and he probably became idependant on them so he never took off there are videos of this bird where he has several chances to leave

  • а кто это свистит все видео? )

  • Красавчик, мясо заныкал )) Мой мне любит за шиворот ныкать и за шкаф еще.

А его там кстати чего, одним мясом только кормят ?х_Х
