@thynaruto i didnt see a locking mechanism but you can make a very easy on out of a saw blade because it returns to shape when it bends, the drawer slide peice that the blade is attached to has a lipp, all you have to do is mont a bent peice of saw on the bottom of it and when it passes over the saw it will catch the lip and lock, hope that helps

That is not his hidden blade.The real hidden blade dose not have a spring.I is a bit of wood with a dagger underneath it on his arm.when he flexes his arm it creates a gap between his wrist and the bit of wood.This creates hid dagger to slide in the target.

Ok you have a hidden blade it has only the reach of your arm a guy with a sword has the reach of his arm and a sword he would kill you before you got close enough to use ur blade. In a head to head fight its just not practical

You use the hidden and try to attack him and then he just stabs you because he has the reach of his sword and his arm, you however only have the reach of your arm. Same goes for a guy with a spear or pole ax. The hidden blade isn't practical in a head to head fight. The hidden blade is still a really cool weapon though.
