a very risky one. the likelyhood of those eggs hatching is slim, but possible. i wouldnt recommend such a simplistic set up. breeding is really something that needs to be done with plenty of preparation, and in cycles/ him letting the male in at all times is very stressful on the female, and again could cause birth defects in the babies. the odds that these eggs end uo ok are astronomical. be carful.
The temperatures produced by those stick on heat pads vary quite a bit, so, you might want to remind folks to use a thermostat so the temp does not get too hot. Use a heat measuring gun or thermometer to check the temps before you put the eggs into the vermiculite.
Shoot for a 82 to 86 degree range and it should work just fine. I would suggest using the smallest heat pad you can find, preferably the 5 watt model, as it is less likely to cook the eggs.
at first when it said raptors i thought it was the monitors and u also said back in time so cause done the savs eggs big like that or are they smaller
This was posted in 2009...did these end up hatching???
