Miller's going to cast an unknown, which is how it should be. Mel Gibson was an unknown and Miller knows HIS franchise perfectly- the look, the feel, the story, the protagonist.
He'll cast an unknown and I think it'll be one of the few great movie franchises that will continue how it left off.

These 3 movies and AC/DC are the only noteworthy things to come out of Australia. Ever. I trust George Miller. I just hope a big bloated budget and old age doesn't castrate his product. I'm excited to see how the world of Mad Max has changed. New plots, vehicles, and people. I'd rather the world of it evolve rather than stay stagnant. I'm excited to see it and I think it was wise of him to try and draw people back to help on production.
There was no interceptor in Thunder Dome. If you love the movies, then don't be a hater and enjoy. Captain Walker said "Two thumbs up!". Besides, a supercharger drive belt can't be turned on, OR off!

Notice that all Australian movies are about it's history or culture. Look at movies like lord of the rings. They aren't even set in this world and they rake in the money. Y'all need to see Thomas Hardy in BRONSON before you go agro that Gibson isn't Max. Hardy is AMAZING, and every bit the actor (and then some) that Gibson is.
