People place too much importance on hair and appearance. im shaving mine cuz the cost of caring for my long hair isnt worth it to me and its 2012... Some men&women have long hair, some men&women have shaved heads, its just hair it grows back so get over it if u like your hair long, keep it, want to shave it, go for it, that simple.

My hair used to be 5 and 1/2 metres long after not cutting it for a 5 years, and my friends shaved my head bald for a practical joke. At first I was really upset (obviously) but now I have learnt to embrace it and I love it. Now I shave my head all the time and don't miss my hair at all. I especially love a clean shave, no hair or stubble, you feel so free. I admire the courage here, good job :)

it does take alot of courage to do this everyone in the video is telling her to leave it short and to spike it and stuff but she goes through with it she has to have a big heart to be encouraged to leave it short and she doesnt. :)

this is awesome. i had cancer last summer. got diagnosed at 14, a month before i turned 15. and now i'm cancer free (: my hair is FINALLY growing back. i don't know about that girl in the video, but losing my hair was the worst part of having cancer. i felt like being pretty was instantly robbed from me. the pain sucked too, but i hafta say, i remember the day i lost my hair more than the day i started chemo. losing my hair was a huge deal. hope she's doing well ! (:
