My cousin and her husband have been married for 13 years, but together for 17 years. They are very happy, they've had their trials and they've worked through them. I've been with my guy for a while and I truely believe we have a perfect love. It does exist you just have to be patient and it will find you when you're least expecting it. :)
There is no such thing as perfect. But through all the fights and good times, at the end of the day, if you can still say, "I'm sorry, I love you." What could be more perfect than that?
i LOVE this song. for me, "perfect love" is being happy just being with the one you love through good times and bad. i love our quiet, ordinary lives -- drinking coffee, talking, going for a drive, etc. i always imagined grand romance but what i found was so much less it's perfect.
To everyone saying that there's no such thing as a "perfect" love/marriage/relationship... stop making the assumption that "perfect" means not having any imperfections.
@cabriogirllp I thought the definition of perfect WAS not having and flaws or imperfectons. So if you ask if something is perfect, by defintion the answer is NO, As the true state of Perfection cant exist .and is unattinable in the human world. Now, we can change its meaning to include that something can be perfect when an person believes that something is a perfect as it can possibly get to what they view is perfect to them.
@Ilovemygiant1 Perfect is in the eye of the beholder. What's perfect to everyone else may not be perfect to you, and what's perfect to you may not be perfect to anyone else. A "Perfect Love" is loving someone not in spite of their imperfections...but FOR their imperfections. That's perfect.
@allanpmeikle ik right i loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo this video and song i wish trisha yearwood would make a video called loooooooooooove
@GaCountryGirl024 yes a perfect love is possible its just not that easy to find. And everyone argues thats unavoidable, but not everyone takes it to the extreme that their realtionship becomes broken.
@GaCountryGirl024 Perfect anything doesnt exist. Have i known marriages that lasted til death do us part? Long lasting marriages? Of course. my grandparents were married from the time they were teens til he died in 81. But they fought, argued, Ive heard tell that he cheated in the early years but what made them great was they stuck it out. They forgave, they moved on and they stuck together through good and bad but they were far from perfect. Thats REAL love and Ill take it over perfect anyday.
@GaCountryGirl024 I dont know what you consider "lasting" but here is our story..in a nut shell: I met him (neighbors) when I was 3, "feel in love with him" when I was 5. ha ha I was smitten. When I was 10 I told his momma I was goin going to marry him when Igrew up. When I was 14 and he was 16 we started "going together". When I was 17 I moved in with him, got married when I was 18, and we had our daughter 6 months later. We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on the 16th of January.
@Brenda0312F We are very happy. We started out very young. I dont recommend it. But we are now proud grandparents of two beautiful little boys. Our daughter is also happily married to a teacher who is also the worship leader of our church. Im sorry you havent had any good experiences with marriage. I dont blame you for feeling the way you have if you have never known anyone to actually honor their wedding vows. That is so sad.
@GaCountryGirl024 -- while there is no such thing as "perfect" i have been blessed to witness three generations of enduring happiness. my own parents were high school sweethearts and have been together almost 50 yrs now. my husband and i fell in love 10 yrs ago and its been the best 10 yrs of my love -- with the promise of many more. there are good times and bad times and very bad times and you fight and argue but you work at it cuz its so worth it. that's why i love this video.
@Denabella yes it was. I was 7 at the time. Sadly I didn't meet Trisha Yearwood. If you notice she isn't filmed with anyone but her ex-husband. I know my father bought the cd to that this song was on after I was casted for the part. One of the directors passed it on to her and she signed her name and wished me (with my name titled) the best of luck in my future. It was nice of her to do that for someone she never even met. I remember when they aired this. It was late Christmas Eve 1997 on CMT.
@chasetrussel , yes it was. It is an excellent song & It was fun filming, especially for a 7 year old with an attentionspan of a dog. lol. I can tell you an Interesting fact about the video that involved me. When I give the eskimo kiss to the little girl, (I think her name was chelsea), We were supposed to actually kiss. We thought it was too gross, so we *re-directed* the scene, lol. And then after started laughing, which for some reason they added in the vid, shortly after that scene @2:16.
@chasetrussel, Another interesting fact too... if I remember correctly the "old" lady in the end of the video with the dark hair was actually the young blonde woman in the video. We watched her change into that outfit and thats why we were gigling and laughing in the end because we couldn't figure out why she was trying to look like that. lol

Is there such thing as a "Perfect Love" i find it hard to believe but that
doesn't mean it doesn't exist i just haven't seen it in my lifetime period.
Everyone i know has been divorced cheated on or had marriages and
love end for other reasons. What do you think is there such a thing as
a perfect love? Let's hear from you as i am sure someone must know
of someone who has gone through life in marriage without words being
said fights arguments infidelity do you know of a perfect love?

@Ilovemygiant1 I totally agree with what you are saying and only people
who were married during a certain era ever stayed together and worked
things out now there's no forgiveness and there's no morals and it's too
easy to cheat and now days men and woman don't stay and make things
work. I think cheating is a selfishness on ones part knowing that what they
are doing is wrong and hurts people including children but your right as i
stated there is no perfect love real love hurts too!!
