  • I don't think we should be watching this......this looks like someone's home movies.

  • You should go to the soldiers water hole in Brady Texas...we've been twice and everytime you can hear the crying and screaming of the spirits that were massacred by the indians out there...

  • Menard in Menard county? The Menard I know of is not a ghost town its really small but people still there and there's shops and everything else...I'm not contradicting the video but I've been to Menard

  • @ThePop345 Yeah... Fort Davis isn't a ghost town either....

  • that need to be scary then that cause it not scary it boring

  • WTF is Chariots of Fire doing in here?

  • lol the 30 second ghost kitty fight was killer :D !!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Texas is a whole STATE with a mess load of people in it you idiot. I know b/c I live in it, THAT'S how I know.

  • with "ghost towns" i expect it to be more then 1 house and not filling half the video with some random cat.

  • that is not just any cat ... that is texas ghost town killer kitty

  • should have known

  • i had a cat name timmy he looked like the symies

  • that place looks untouched

  • 2:05 lol

  • I want the kitties!!! Espically the one with white booties!!! Was anyone living there? Or were they wild kitties....I hate it when people throw out pets!! Thanks for posting the video!!

  • ... people did live there ... but it was over 15 years ago so mittens must be an old kitty by now

  • the little cat had shoes on it looked so cute it wouldnt fill your belly though hahahaha;]

  • I've always wanted to go to Texas and spend a week just exploring the wide open plains and old buildings. I think this summer I will

  • Ah, west Texas. Dead as hell out there and creepy as shit. I can tell you that for damn sure. Cuz I live there :)

  • Mentone is the county seat of the smallest by population county in the US

  • you didn't like the little kitties?

  • I adore the cats.... But the place was hell

  • wow. if you stop the video at 3.24 you see a face in the door

  • i saw no face..

  • There is a lot of good land in texas being laid waste because all the good people have gone elsewhere do the mexcrement fiasco and poor economy.

  • Nice Ragdoll kitten

  • it looks like all the other land around there, plus, if you bought it for cheap, sight unseen, then that means it has no electric, water, sewage, and would cost about 200,000 to put it there. it's also 120degrees in the summer. hope you didn't plan on retiring there or something. you could hunt there in season, if you have a 4wheel drive or don't mind a long walk.

  • I believe I was looking at Ft. Mckavett instead of Ft. Mckissac. There is a dead house or a place where dead bodies were kept there. It was a very creepy place. Another good thing to do is follow the old forts trails. Fort Chadbourne near Bronte and Fort Phantom Hill, Fort Griffin and Fort Concho. Make sure you visit Fort Concho during the last of November. Christmas at old fort concho is fantastic.

  • I'd love to get a video of my land at the base of the van horn mountains 5.5 miles sw of Lobo. if interested let me know.. thanks.

  • I liked the cats and the goats. Technically, Mentone isn't a ghost town.

  • thanks for your comments ... granted Mentone is not a ghost town per se, I shot this in the mid-90s and remember getting an ice tea at a store in Mentone ...I found the town as it was listed in Ghost Towns of Texas by T. Lindsay Baker ...

  • looking for someone to film my land 5.5 miles sw of lobo on van horn mtn. or at the base of it.
