    GENIE !!!

Merci a toi pour le signalement .

Et merci pour le port .

  • espectacular!!!!

  • Does anyone know where I could find the music to this?

  • すごいなーぁ

  • i'm sick of people saying he had a car crash...

If you watch videos of him as a child, he holds the trumpet upright. As he got older, i'm guessing he changed his technique/posture. I also highly doubt he played the piano and then changed to the trumpet, because he began performing with orchestras in major concert halls of the Soviet Union when he was 10.

Do some research before posting incorrect and misleading comments.

  • @dannyboy4314

    Official Site states:

"Born in Gorky in 1977, Sergei began to play the piano when he was six years old, but moved on to the trumpet, after a spine injury in 1986 curtailed his piano studies."

True or not, it still the official story. And problems with his back had maybe increased when he got older and taller. That could explain the posture change.

  • @wallyllaw

i stand corrected, so he did play the piano.. but no where in his biography says he had a car crash.

  • so beatiful!

  • 0:52 makes me sick to my stomach. Did he really just circular breath through that passage? wft

  • Violin concerto... This guy is too much for me

  • este man es un teso

  • every sound is virtuoso!!! i can't stop listening to it! It's hard to play violin plays on trumpet, like this!!! TOTALLY AMAZING!!!!

  • Truly an amazing talent! Amazing technique and sound!

  • this is just unbelievable

  • besttrumpeteronearth is just joking. he's a funny guy...

  • He can't compare to me. I'm a trumpet god.

  • Oh really? Care to post a video of yourself doing something as good as this on the Trumpet and back up this conceited claim of yours?

  • 0:52, he circular breathes while double tonging. Pretty amazing.

  • Yes it is. I can do it while holding out a note, but not while playing up and down scales, I wish I could learn how.

  • actually you will notice he is slurring just for a moment at that part. it is still very impressive, though

  • I spent ten years playing the trumpet always being the best among my peers. I could never conquer the double tounge. I spent years trying to do it though it never worked. I unfortuantely came to a stand still with my playing and ultimately put it down.

  • Adorei!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great playing and great sounds. I play the trumpet too but not as well as you can.

    LOL

  • no no

  • playing high notes just doesnt mean u are keen

  • how does he play with his trumpet like that

  • @SUPERasianNINJAsquad

you mean why he helds his head down like that...i think he had an accident.

  • he broke his back or something so now he play strait

  • Well, lol

  • The musiq4ever is right.

He used to play violin until he got into a automobile which hindered him from picking up his arms much further from where they are in this video. He then moved to trumpet and become the best (in mine and many others opinion) trumpet player in the world

  • He used to play Piano, not Violin.

  • Opps sorry

  • 太利害了~不愧是小號界的帕可尼尼~

  • 你说得对

  • just as good or even better than some violin versions

  • that's cool- Cavi119 has it pretty much correct. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh and he's good looking.. what more could we ask for?

  • ugh, lets clear this up, sergei's first instrument was Piano, he was in an accident and could no longer play the piano because of back problems. He then took up the trumpet and became the amazing player we kno today. His posture, in addition to his back problems, is part of his technique. He says the air flow is more natural that way.

  • thats incredible o good proove that adversity sometimes means nothing agains the power of the mind and the will to live great muscian

  • absolutely brilliant..

  • bravissímo

  • man i love how people are so misinformed. all it takes is one person to have false information and then it spreads like a wildfire.

  • he has a back problm cos he had a crash when he was younger

  • He cant lift his arm above his shoulder

  • it was actually piano

  • I think the tone is because of the video quality. If you've ever seen him live or in a video with good quality, his tone is outstanding.

And to freshhh1994, does Sergei have bad days? hahaha

  • Noooo!!! The video is gone! *weeps bitterly*

  • eccezionale tecnicamente superiore anche a maurice andrè gia è l'unico paganini della tromba, raggiunta la qualità e pulizia sonora sarà il nuovo maurice andrè e paganini messi insieme,strepitoso...........

  • This is incredible! The cool thing is that they actually sell the sheet music for trumpet! Too bad I can't play it!

  • OMG THIS GUY IS FREAKING AMAZING!!!

  • какой тип трубы он используя

  • Guys, I meant bad in the goodest sense. He is killin'!

  • @jlevinson6

    This crowd dosen't understand jazz-slang. ;)

  • So nice. You may wish to see the Australian James Morrison.

Hi is so good the bar is unreachable. still nice to see these people like sergei blowalof.

  • In his masterclass he said he will not give any advices about technical questions, also he said he doesn't play exercises, scales but instead of that have a good meal before the solo gig :)

  • watch "DAREPICA-Young Trumpet Star-Sergei Nakariakov" he is warming up before a performance there....

  • in the picture of him at a young age, his lip looks like its been used alot. This guy has practiced his ass off to get this good. I'll bet he put in 2 hours or more per day before he was 10 years old.

  • The guy is BAD!

  • i think hes pretty good

  • ????????? Nakariakov is Genius!!!

  • you play it. gogo

  • I would like to know what is daily "warm-up" program consists of.

Daily it must be, to stay at his level.

  • no guys,best player ever:rafa mendez

  • uhh... listen to moto perpetuo... this guy plays it waaaayyyy better

  • he find he's own voice.....that's great!!!!

  • now he pased over wynton......sorry but true

  • i was told to watch dis by meh trumpet instructor. This guys great.

  • started playing when he was 14, and by 16 was word class.... fuck lol

  • he definetly started before he was 14. theres a video of him playing tarantella when hes like 9.

  • The best trumpet player EVER!!!

  • have you heard about Maurice Andre? you'll take it back if you listen to him...

  • FENOMENAL

  • Davvero un grande Talento...

  • When he was young he severely injured his back, and that probably has an effect on his posture. Doesn't affect his playing though.

  • if he can play that well with a posture like that, let him keep it lol

    what doesn't kill you...

  • @KelThuzadJaden he was in a car accident- hence the posture.

  • you really don't know what you're talking about, guy!

  • trumpet is about sound, nuff said

  • I agree..it does

  • I have no words ... FANTASTIC !!!!!

  • Did I hear a couple of minor flubs? Jeez, he IS human after all! What a player!

  • We all remember where we were when we heard our first Nakariakov mistake!

  • hahahaha, very funny

  • heh, yea. There's hope for the rest of us!

  • Сергей ты лучьший,поставь шото новенькое!!!!!!!

  • Nakariakov a legjobb. Ő a példaképem

  • il mito...

  • A God given talent who has worked his behind

off to get to this level. WOW! and AMEN.

  • efficient

  • amazing! he plays it with such ease. he makes it look so easy.

  • easily the best piece of trumpet playing I've ever heard in my life.

  • 2:48 ~ 2:55 LOL

  • That sequence is a prime example of why he is a bad@ss on the trumpet.

    Insane

  • Comment removed

  • How does he do it?

    God inspired?

  • My favorite trumpet sound.

  • * * * * *! ^_^

  • why does it sometimes show a young boy and at other times an older sergei?

  • idk

  • I was wondering the same thing.

  • I particularly like how he moves very little. There's no wasted effort moving his fingers more than he needs to, he's just doing his thing, and it's amazing.

  • where can i find the sheet music for this piece?

  • You can buy it from his website.

  • Brilliant fore sure...but well within the teachings of Jean Baptiste Arban!

  • Yea. You would be pretty damn good if you master the Arban's.

  • sounds like a cornetist what a shame

  • where can i find the sheet music for this piece?

  • does nakariakov have any good albums that i should check out?

  • by the way, the only reason you would say that rafael is the best is because of his technical work, but "naks" takes him on that... unless if you like rafael's style which is entertaining to listen to, but it sounds too much like he is playing those mexican licks all the time... as for vizzutti, he is so engaging, but he is too flashy... other than that, he has nothing especially unique... wynton: he should just stick to jazz (his classical style just doesn't work)... GO SERGEI NAKARIOKOV!!!

  • Wynton's classical style just doesn't work??????????????????? His renditions of Haydn's tumpet concertos are magnificant! What makes you think his classical style doesn't work?

  • I personally would recommend "No Limits" and "Concertos for Trumpet"

  • I have all but his first 3 cds and I second that hankyeulyang's recommendation. "Echoes from the past" is also good, and if you prefer baroque, "Baroque Trumpet Concertos" is also well played. Two not that great albums I have are "Elegie"(has some great pieces especially "Vocalise" with flugel, but trumpet's sound is just too harsh and immature (methinks)) and "From Moscow with love"(Gliere's concerto is great, but first one is nonsense and played only because of composers nationality)

  • Actually, I do agree with you guys.

    "Naks" playing is quiet phenomenal.

    Cheers

  • Who are they trying to kid?

    Try as they might,

    Raphael Mendez IS the best!

    He has no equal!

    Cheers

    John

  • Music is an art, not a sport...

  • finally.. someone reasonable

  • That's a matter of opinion teflonde. I agree that Raphael Mendez is a great trumpet player, but so is Maurice Andre and Wynton Marsalis.

  • Comparing Maurice and Sergei just really isn't appropriate. They specialize in vastly different areas, Maurice on the piccolo and Sergei in technical prowess (and he really is extremely musical, just not necessarily in the traditional sense). They're both amazing artists in their own right (and Maurice is not better than Sergei, for the record).

  • That was well said."They specialize in vastly different areas, Maurice on the piccolo and Sergei in technical prowess..."

  • Sergei is so talented. The clip looks quite old but I believe he's only 29 now. I wonder where this clip came from.

  • Where is this video from? I thought I saw a part where it was edited, and am kind of curious what the whole thing would be like.
