The Goal will definitely help, its quite an amazing book, and hard to put down once you start. So wait until July 3rd!

Thanks for providing some insight. I'm still trying to figure out what the bottle neck of my organization is. Like you said an organization is so complex. When I try to figure out what the goal is, I look at my organization and my department. I try to break it into parts but because the relationships are so complex, I'm trying to figure out what the overall goal is (create value). I've added those books to my reading list. Would "The Goal" help me to understand creating value?
