68, because these trains come in sets of 17 cars attached together, and there were 4 sets of 17 cars

Never knew that CN rail owned tankers.

I am not sure if CN owns some of these cars. As you will notice, some of the cars are marked only on one end 'GATX', and others are marked 'CN' on one end and 'GATX' on the other end of the tank car

@YTBYlover CN doesn't own them. GATX does but they have CN logo. Southern Pacific did it the same way.

oui, c'est pour la rapidité de déchargement, et aussi de remplissage, ce sont des rames de 17 wagons interconnectés, et quand ils arrivent à la raffinerie, chaque rame est placée sur une différente voie, pour le remplissage ou bien le déchargement

I saw several CN TankTrains in person as they moved between Chicago and Canada. They are not all in the exactly same paint scheme.

After I saw them I had to buy one of the Lionel CN DASH 9 TankTrain Sets with add-on tank cars.
