Had a great trip on the upper Ocoee with Raft1 on 7-16-11. Our group of 30 people was handled professionally from the time we arrived at the office and throughout our rafting experience. I recommend these guys if you are interested in a trip on the Ocoee.

The type of PFD shown in this short film is totally inadequate for the activity shown as I soon learnt when I was tipped out of the raft. Furthermore a Tennessee man drowned the same day after being tipped out of his raft. When found he was floating face down wearing the Type 3 PFD. It is possible to be knocked unconscious despite wearing a helmet, but if you are face down you aren’t breathing.

@windshear33 You are a total and complete dumbass. first off, those are type V PFD's that the customers are wearing! Also, that man DID NOT DROWN!! He had a fatal heart attack when he fell out of the boat. Next time you want to throw a rafting company under the bus because you wet your pants after taking a little swim do your homework first...fuckin pussy

our boat got caught in slice 'n dice and another boat hit us and catapulted our front seaters into their boat and we all flipped. near death experiences... fun fun
