  • This video again is by beginning student taiko drummers who put their hard effort and long hours of learning to give this performance. If you do not like it, then go to another video, perhaps by lady gaga or some other nitwit. Until you can get up there and do what these students did, keep you comments to yourself. Thanks you!

  • @whiteswan54 This was a BEGINNER STUDENT presentation.

  • More power to them regardless, I still enjoyed it.

  • I understand the yelling, but this has to be the Fushu Daiko beginners. It was ok, but it was a mess at times. Good effort though, I envy them because I wish I could play soon enough.

  • They all had to start out somewhere. Remember they've probably had 2 years of hell just to join the company.

  • This is about as good as the New Zealand Auckland Hare performance

  • true. taiko performers r very supportive of each other and thats wonderful^^

  • I agree with the person who posted this up, if you don't like it, don't watch it in the first place.

How can you comment on something if you have not watched the piece in question?????

Then and only then can you post a negative or positive comment on the piece concerned.

  • I've noticed a few commentors here complaining about the yelling going on during the performance. For the unintiated to taiko, most of the yelling is actually coming from the drummers on stage. In the taiko community, it is appropriate to "cheer" on other drummers (especially the soloists) to help them bring out their best performance and to help them endure the pain and exhaustion they're experiencing. In my experience with Taiko festivals, most audience members are usually very quite.

  • I was at the fair, I took my camera and I vidoetaped the performance. I did not beat any drums, these are students who are learning Taiko. I put these up for others to enjoy. If you dont' like it, don't listen.

  • Obviously, YOU have never heard TAIKO live. These audio represent nothing, just like YOU! Learn something from other cultures, don't just pollute them. But then again, don't do that and keep being an AMERICAN, OK?

  • What the Hell is up with all this American bashing? 'You're American so you suck!' nonsense. Theres nothing more pathetic than people that spout off nonsense like that. I dubb thee Reverend Wright.

  • I'm not an American ..... fortunately. Of course, Wright have to start somewhere, I'm sure it began with something very small and insignificant.

  • Japanese art forms are as much about dignity and disipline. There is neither of these qualities here, and could you Americans please stop whooping... learn something from other cultures, don't just pollute them.

  • what are they sceaming for!!! They are crazy but it is nice!!!

  • I saw them in person and they were awesome

  • Nice!
