I tell you whats cool about this game: it's fun, easy to learn and addicting. After the PSN welcome back program we got this game and beat it together which was awesome because we don't get to play cooperatively with most games.

excellent review! interesting game, the lighting effects are gorgeous and the leaderboards are very innovative, they actually compare countries but i'm critical of one thing, the leaderboard upload mechanics. when you beat a level it takes a minute to upload your score, however, if you look at your rank, it's not changed. it only changes upon completion of the game. also i cleared the game on "grim" difficulty last week and earned some 200 million points and my rank never changed

They've added so many updates now that it's like 9099988898778x better!!! Even the graphics and sound is better. My friend Bryand and I just beat the last level on Grim mode and it took us 123 MINUTES!!!! INSANITY, RIGHT?! There is some lag though sometimes, especially in the last level, where there are about 350 zombies coming at you at once (NOT 700, there's NEVER that many @ once) play the whole game before you review next time ;)

A great soundtrack to play with this game is "Those Who Come Closer" from Final Fantasy X. It just instills a certain amount of fear in you while you're playing this game that makes it 20% cooler in 10 seconds flat.

I did mean to say that some aspects of the game are the same as RE4. Like the fact that there is a random salesman around the levels. And the enemies drop random money. You can upgrade the weapons kind of the same and from the music. I really want to clear that up, because (viewing some other comments) people clearly think I'm a dumbass.

@democrat1515 not angry about you in here but you should say it's looks like RE3 in the first place and i agree it dose looks like the street's of RE3 and 2 but due to the limitation of the ps1 the numbers of zombies always looks like 5 to 8 zombies in one screen compared to this.

I'll take it that owensentis never played Silent Bomber on the PSX, which was a terrific game that capitalized heavily on overhead camera angles and blowing shit up, much like Dead Nation. Both games are cool in my book. And you get to put your own music! : D

I was very excited about this game - the free download and the intro had me thinking this is going to be brilliant. I am so disappointed. Why the hell didn't I google it first? I could have got one of the other free games. Total rubbish. I hate it.

If I would have watched this review I wouldn't have downloaded it, thanks for putting it up anyway! It gives a good feel for the game but avoid it unless you actually like old fashioned bull shit games, obviously some people do!

When you quit the game in online co-op, do the upgrades and weapons that you have earned stay with your character permanently like RE5? Or are they all gone, and you will need to start all over to earn them all again when you join/create an online mode?

(My Thoughts on the game) It's a good game but my only problem with it is the camera angle i'm not a big fan of over head views i would have perfered a first person view like in left 4 dead or a third person vie like in dead rising. (Dead Rising 2 is my favorite zombie game)

It's not a FULL box office game that you can pick up at gamestop. so i think people should stop complaining about the camera and that it should be a first person game. obviously that couldn't happen because the budget to make a small downloadable game for 15 bucks isnt very high.

2-D Sidescrolling type view, 3-D Platform type view, Over- Head view, 3rd Person view and First person view

out of all these types my least favorite is over head i'm not exactly sure why that is i'm just not a giant fan of it is all

Downloaded it as a part of Playstations "wecome back program" last night and played it for about an hour, What immideatley struck me is that it's quite a difficult game even on normal difficulty. I'm so used to playing these kind of games (Alien Breed, Shadowgounds 1&2, Alien Shooter) on my pc with a mouse so the ps3-controls feels very uncomfortable. Maybe that'll wear off if i just keep on playing.
