I was at a crossing just a little further along by Ybor City ,about 2 weeks ago taking photos of the same train.

Yes. there were two women showing the train to their kids. And then a guy walks right in front of my shot near the end.

Yeah, my girlfriend. lol. There were a few others but they pulled up midstride or later on.

looks like the track could use a little upgrading in the pullout area before the first crossing there.

They've been doing trackwork all around the area. I guess they haven't got to this section yet. But you are right.

yeah....it may just be because of the lenght of the shot, but it looks like you probably couldnt fit a piece of paper between the the train wheel and the ground right there.

My first thought at the beginning was`that it didn't look as though they kept their stuff up too well.

It does appear that way at the beginning, but Tampa Union Station is very nice.
