I watched the remastered version of Star Trek not realising it was the remastered version. LOL. The original tapes were of poor quality.

nice to see the klingon ship; the planet is in keeping with the original, however a large percentage of the remastered versions have Earth-like planets. part of the nostalgia of the original was in the bright, surreal iridescent colouring of the planets. Metamorphosis, for one, was messed up for the remastered, failing to match the original's purple atmopshere. overall, however, the project has been very successful in my eyes :)

@jwitchell88 Personally, I think it's more realistic that they be Earth-like, since they're capable of supporting human(oid) life.
