@daniel41337 Thanks for your comment. This tutorial is primarily for women who have relaxed hair. Washing/conditioning hair 2-3 times a day is not at all ideal if the hair is relaxed (doing so would probably lead to excessive stripping of oils off the hair and possible damage, especially if heat is applied every time for styling purposes).
@daniel41337 2-3 times every day? Are you kidding why so much do you have time for anything else? You must mean a week> wow you can wash the life out of your hair that is crazy!!
the bikini serves a purpose , its there so she doesnt film naked , & im not making fun of her i just thought it was funny that she was wearing make-up in the shower .
@warmfriesandcoldmilk she's also wearing a bikini. This is a tutorial not really how she showers... Besides many women take their makeup off in the shower if this was a regular day that might be the next step. she was not showing you how she takes her makeup off.
automatically use a lot less shampoo from now because you will need less and your hair "will lather up on the 1st wash". Used fortnightly. Try Giovanni 50/50 or Paul Mitchell Three or similar. Hope this helps
Really hope you will not take offensive by me saying this as it is just my observation: "That was truly a lot of shampoo used, the only reason you would need such a large quantity is because: "Your hair needs clarifying"! with a decent brand name moisturising clarifying shampoo... suitable for daily use (so as not to dry out our hair texture too excessively) pre-shampoo or hot first. I am sure if done you will notice a huge difference & realise that you'll automatically use a lot less shampoo f
@irna7679 I agree with you a lot. I am simply mesmorized by this woman. She is absolutely gorgeous and sexy and I'm just looking at her face and eyes. Ahhh! But I think she actually manipulate her hair too much. I think it is a better idea to divide hair into sections and focus on the scalp on each section. The squeezing thing is smart, but the way she put the shampoo made me cringe.
@TotalSarah Thanks! I wash and condition my hair according to how often I work out. If I work out 4 days in one week, I'll most likely wash my hair 2-3 times that week (depending on how my scalp and hair feels, etc.). However, I will probably only apply heat styling to my hair once that week, if at all, to avoid unnecessary damage.
@crystalroselove I haven't tried it yet either but I'd like 2 try it. I'm sure it might work. I also last night tried what u did. and it did help with the buildup because I've had some itchy scalp stuff going on.
I have been through your videos several times and you do give great info, so thanks. Will you be doing a video of how you blow dry with a paddle brush? I have never seen that before. Of course if that's possible. Thanks!
Hi Crystal! This is my first time ever commenting on someones video but I love hair soo yea! But Im also subscribed to hairs talent and your hair dresser uses a relaxer that is sulfate free and i'm just wondering if Joico is also sulfate free? If not, do you recommend using sulfate free shamps and cond? And how often do you deep condition?
@catherineewhitee Re: deep conditioning: I do quick deep conditions each time I wash/condition my hair, but I like to do full deep conditioning treatments once a week for 20-30 minutes under a hooded dryer (with a plastic cap on).
@catherineewhitee Joico's Moisture Recovery Shampoo contains sodium laureth sulfate. The lauryl fatty acids in sodium laureth sulfate come from natural oils, like coconut oil. If I had to choose between a shampoo that had sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate, I would choose sodium laureth because it is the less irritating of the two.
thanks for the vid!I was a little confused because some ladies leave some conditioner in the hair, or some moisturize with a rinsing out conditioner! I don't know why but is it recommended!?
@sweetbee06 You're welcome, sweetbee06! I would never leave a rinse-out conditioner in my hair. It isn't recommended at all. There are plenty of leave-in moisturizing conditioners to choose from if they want to leave a conditioner on their hair.
Girl your arms look great! do a flexing video!

O.o that's lot of shampoo. It's not even good to shampoo and condition it a lot. Ur only supposed to shampoo and conditio ur hair 2-3 times a day.

@SceneTeen9696 I'm actually quite gentle while squeezing water out of my hair. Perhaps it looks a lot more intense on camera.

do you air dry or use a blow dryer cause some use a hair dryer and some don't?
shegwa1 2 months ago
@shegwa1 I air dry up to about 70-80 percent and then blow dry my hair. I don't like putting a blow dryer on 100% wet hair.

have u tried using baking soda on ur scalp 2 remove buildup.

@crystalroselove Read about it , baking soda is a BIG NO for hair. Especially for relaxed hair.
Take care Crystal:)
lunar371 11 months ago
@Beauty4Aspies Isn't baking soda harsher than shampoo? I've used baking soda to strip permanent hair color out of my hair. Shampoo can't do that.
