Why not? Sure I neglected lessons of the 4th (German) one and never really learned 5th (French, only basic level, you know like "I live...", "my name is..."), but it's perfectly possible. I speak 2 languages daily + use English on the Internet.

Perhaps it's about cultural differences but white people need to stop thinking that Asians worship them like Gods. Maybe in the 1920s when Westerners have guns and weapons but these days you're just guests so act with respect to your host country. I'm quite surprised that Japanese befriended me although I heard many stereotypes of how they don't like blacks before arrival.

I think, in order to understand the culture, copying their language or the way they do in that culture is an important thing, because that way you understand it deeper. Understanding of other culture widens your view and world. You cant learn it because u should be "natural and be as where you come from"? That sounds more rediculous.
