  • The song is amazing if only for the face melting guitar solo that you never hear anymore

  • Awesome money

  • i wish music was stil like this.. im only 20 but this was the best era of music ever.. wish i lived through it!

  • @rmz247 Im 16 years old and I listen to real music like this! Not pop shit. Metallica, Journey, REO Speedwagon, AC/DC, Rush, etc.. Bands like those are the real musicians still lm/

  • i loooooooooooooooooove this song

  • Who gives a fuck its awesome!!!

  • I love the Little Rascles intro

  • Why do people always say "charlie sheen brought me here"? If you didn't know who made this song before he did that shit. then you need to be punched in the dick.

  • Very underrated guitarist!!!!!!

  • back when music was made by musicians....

  • It would be so awesome to have a concert with all these great 70's 80's bands together, I would LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @753684 I agree 100% Christ I miss MTV! AND 70's and 80's music. Oh this video? LOL SOunds like hes on speed/~!

  • This song was popular, then It got ahold of some tiger's blood, took a large sip, causing it's soft rock DNA to mutate into Adonis DNA leading it into an endless lifetime of infinite winning

  • @hardcoretechnolover Be careful that "tiger" blood may be "tainted"

  • luv REO ..is it me or they seemed in a rush to hurry up this song!..it was a tad fast..

  • WINNING!!!

  • Charlie Sheen brought me here.

  • I love it! They are an awesome band!

  • i just saw them live at nutty jerrys they were amazing still im def a fan after the concert lol

  • I would have loved to have been there for that performance

  • Reo speedwagon rocks!!!!!!!one of the best bands out there...would like 2 hear more from them.

  • How many modern bands sound as good live as they do on their cd?? Not many....

    Speedwagon sounds great live!!!!!!!

  • @kawiman777 How many modern bands don't use tracks to strum along to live?? Not many...

  • GARY RICHRAYH MADE SPEEDWAGON

  • Look at the chord progression at 2:58!.. very typical and simple!, but it sounds great! :), it's the key to do an amazing song! Em, C, D, G! :D

  • check out my channel for a band thats trying to bring back good music to this generation!

  • great times by all

  • GREAT TIMES

  • epic guitar solo and epic hair!

  • Thats real talent...not like today where everything is edited 500 times to make it sound good...

  • The 80's had some good music but nothing like the 70's.

  • Geesh man. Was there a song that wasn't a hit in the 80's? I liked Rush but REO just dominated the charts with all their hits!

  • you know your in a big band when the drummer has is own personal mic feeder

  • Good Stuff!

  • Ahh the 80's .. the music was so good and the hair so bad..

  • i made the 80s! 1989 baby;) wish i grew up in the 70s and 80s. i hate this generation....................

  • @theaterjunkie89 Same here, 1984.... If only I were conceived 10 years earlier....

  • awesome

  • Comment removed

  • This IMO is Gary Richrath's best guitar solo ever. That is how it is done people...Don't have to have a gazillion notes ..Pure melodic GENIUS and it will always stand the test of time...Brilliant!

  • I saw them on this 1981 tour....One of the best concerts and albums ever by these guys.....The 80s rocked...glad I grew up in the 70s and 80s .,...best time for music!

  • 80's were the the best years in the music industry.

  • the lead guitar totally nailed that ...lead.

  • I'm a moron I know that but who's the guitarplayer? Shit he knew his stuff!

  • @karce42 Lead Guitar: Gary Richrath. Immensely talented performer, gifted songwriter and an incredibly kind and friendly man. Met him in 1973 as a 17 year old college freshman. My close friend Art was a DJ at WPGU radio and would conduct on air interviews with the band. Face it, we were both nerds but the band accepted us - a really big deal as time passed. 30+ concerts later, Art and I are still nerdy, but REO was so nice to us always, including Terry and Mike.

  • @karce42 By the way, listen to REO TWO at least twice a day for 3 months and I'll convince Art to post some of the early (1972-75) audio of the band. Do it for 6 months and I'll share Gary's secret of tape on the Gibson.

  • My favorite ballad of all time.

  • Sweet Gibson Goldtop....

  • Have a question: where can i get the video of 1981? is it as DVD available? answer please at tamadaka@online.ms

  • @webtoaster You can find REO Live in denver 1981 at maximumsound dott orgg. (sorry, but wouldn't post unless I misspelled dott orgg)

  • Thanks for the video. Nothing makes me feel better than hearing and seeing my generation rock the house!

  • Great stuff! They made some great music.

  • The 80's were the best timez of my life and I can remember all these bands and the great music from that era. I must say the Cal Jam II in 78' was the ultimate concert I've ever been to. Rock On ! !

  • Back in the days Van Halen was my favorite, and I saw the Fair Warning tour. It was so loud that I was completely deaf for three days! All I could hear was a dial tone and they were so drunk that I felt cheated. Don't get me wrong, I still love Haven and eddie is still the best along with Randy Rhodes. Ozzy always finds the great ones! But just listen to the quality of REO live. They sound just as good live as on an LP. Just because a band can make you sterile, doesn't mean that they sound good

  • @71Nova350 Nah Night Ranger was the best live. So solid on vocals and the guitars melted your face off. A true American Rock Band. Reo is kinda gay, even tho they are fun to listen to, they just don't have the musical powers of Night Ranger.

  • I loved the early 80's & songs like this really take me back.Great song.

  • who's here because of family guy?

  • the 80's rock... oh what feeling

  • te amo vanessa

  • All great posts. Can't say it any better than you folks.

We all miss this period because it represented us and a better time in many many ways

  • genial song :-)

  • @ 4JayeP

    Dont forget Boston!

  • the best dang for ever!!!!

  • This video, like many in the first year of MTV was aired every day for a year!!! Sometimes a few times a day. Love those days when they actually played music videos. True story.

  • @lordbooty I guess they can make a lot more money with people watching shows than videos so they have to do what's in their best interest financially. So now instead they play ~= a few hrs./day of videos. At that time they probably woul've played shows if they even had the staff to develop them. Show development is probably a whole 'nuther branch of the MTV business structure by now whereas how many VJs are left on staff.

  • @g0ldbuG Kurt Loder has been there since the beginning maybe I wonder if he is still bothering to even show up for work now with what MTV has devolved into and all.

  • I have actually met the band several times in Indianapolis ! They are the most down to earth guys you ever would want to meet ! Kevin actually bought me a Micholobe sitting in the bar at the Omini hotel ! Very cool band !

  • that is one shit hot solo

    actually its two.

  • This is THE REO.......with Gary & Alan......I have this on DVD......great concert footage, lots of great shots of Gary.

  • agree Kimber I love all the old stuff ....some of the old ands new makes a great combo

  • One of the best groups of all times ~ right along with Styx and the Eagels

  • Too many mullets, not enough time. :)

  • its too late, theve gone too far, they lost the sun.

  • I think that this is REO at there best.. ( But that's just my opinion ).. Hope they Release it on DVD someday...

  • @RexCars1 You can find a dvd of REO Live in denver 1981 at maximumsound dott orgg (sorry, wouldn't post unless I misspelled dott orgg)

  • uh amazing it must be the drugs

  • gary richraths guitar sounds amaing in this show

  • this thing is cool

  • GroundHog i took it the run she drop me

  • Good clip and song. I like this version by the original band members better than the later version.

  • LOL!!! Does the camara-man get beaned at the end of the song by the drummers mic??? 3:39

  • good song

  • this is such a shitty song. but i love it.

  • she was mine, but he got her now isfly.

  • Does anyone know if " Live Infidelity " has been released on DVD.??? Thank you..

  • i have been looking for it for years i remember having it on VHS back

  • The early 80's had some of the best music: REO Speedwagon, Styx, Rolling Stones w/Tattoo You, Rush with Moving Pictures, Journey with Escape, Van Halen with Women and Children First, Ozzy with Blizzard and Diary. The early 80's was a great period.

  • @4JayeP I agree the music form 1980 to 1984 is the best.

  • @4JayeP Don't forget AC/DC with back in Black

  • @4JayeP I have to agree this decade had the best music and the best videos ever we will never have taht again.

  • @4JayeP You forgot the biggest album of them all dude. Back In Black by ACDC.

  • @AngusShanks Aw man, sorry about that dude.

  • masterpiece...

  • anyone know what the guitarist/lead is doing these days i think his name is Gary

    Richrath

  • good song he has a unique voice if thats how u spell it lol. what does he say though keep kissing my what ?

  • Its actually not that, though I will admit it sounds like that.

The line is: and even if it is keep this in mind

  • Great song, reminds me of my days in the Navy back in the early 80"s

  • thanks to the uploader. good live sound. instruments sound almost exact as the studio recording - good equipment and playing I suppose.

  • this song does not get old

  • mayb shaggy ~ not too shabby ~ though :)

  • I agree after those two left. NOT the same. I saw them live in Memphis in the eighties.. They had so many hits ...

  • Masterpiece....

Travels me back to more romantic times...

  • good song... goofy ass lookin crowd though lol

  • We were all goofy looking those days. :=)

  • Think about this, after Gary left they never had a big hit again. What does that tell you?

  • 2:34 During the guitar solo the asshole camera producer, puts camera on the drummer. "Jerk."

  • Gary wanted to still be in the band, but the singer was binging an asshole.

  • what a great solo

  • @southplnk the sarcasm meter is off the chart

  • visit my channel adding 60s 70s 80s 90s songs so visit if you have other songs i dont have mail me the title and il add

  • Gone forever: Kevin's long dark curly hair, Alan on drums and Gary on guitar. I saw them last Friday night at their hometown concert and although good, I just don't enjoy their show anymore without Gary!!

  • You took the words right out of my mouth! I got to see REO when the guys were all together but lost interest after Alan and Gary left.

  • ...this song makes me remember a good friend o'mine...makes me feel a nice feeling after every bad/good person i've met!

...this song can hit us into our hearts DEEPLY!

  • this song got me laid more times than i can count in the 80's..... thank u reo...

  • Great song and great era

  • Look at that crowd...these guys could really deliver the goods live. Does anybody besides me remember the early, early days of MTV when videos taken from this very performance (including this one) were in heavy rotation? I was such an enthusiastic REO fan that my classmates made fun of me for it. LOL

  • Woah. Bruce Hall is a big-boned guy. Does he have German blood?

  • Kevin Cronin was jealous of Gary Richrath because Cronin knows as a musician, he is'nt in GR's league.

  • "Take it on the run"....¡Great song!...just love it.

  • HE STILL SOUNDS THE SAME

  • this was the BEST lineup in this band...they rocked years ago!!!!! the band has NEVER been the same since Gary left.

  • Great to see Gary so young and jamming on that guitar. He was so talented.

  • Gary?! His name is Kevin Cronin! Are you on crack?

  • I'm talking about the lead guitarist, Gary Richrath. Kevin is just playing acoustic. Gary is a founder member and wrote this song.

  • shouldn't the lead singer also be the lead guitarist as well?

  • Yes, Mr.Richrath should've sanglead on his songs... His voice is much better than Cronins is

  • general, cronin wouldn't let poor gary ( sympthetictone of voice) sing lead on the songs that hewrote...plus there were the musical( Richrath wanted reo to stay a hard rock band) Kevin Cronin perfered them to go towards syrupy ballads Don't ever allow the front man to take over the leadership role when it belongs to the keyboardist

  • what do u mean was???

  • Gary was kicked out of the band in 1989. He was the lead guitarist and wrote this song. He also sang on a few tracks

  • ok thanx

  • Buff; Was that because the restof REo started to go in to a healthier lifestyle...

    But Gary wouldn't join them?

  • Alot of memories, good and BAD.

  • love it

  • I love this song!

  • I am a kid and i crank this up every time i hear it. I cant stand the now a day music i love the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s

  • I have to live my own life!!!
