Nice video. Thanks. I've been looking for some republic side that actually shows the map so I can get my bearings. For empire everyone check out Degrens (FPDegren I think, not sure.) videos. Some of the best datacron guides out there. For video makers I'd check it out too just to see how it should be done. Not knocking you or anything. Yours are very helpful too.

Where you fall the first time for the first datacron, there's no need to jump, you can just walk along the wall on the left :)

Gettin these Datacrons is the most unfun, unrewarding experience i made in any game ive played so far. Dealin with that clunky controls is a pain in the ass for sure. Dont get me wrong im a huge fan of jumpnruns but if you dont wanna feel like throwin your pc outta the window is the only salvation to this misery skip that shit(esp the strengh datacron) it isnt worth it anyways

If you're level 25 like me, for the +3 cunning datacron you will agro the sentry back directly below the console to get to the incinerator room, no matter what you do. Since you're in combat you cant get into the room

The way to get around this is to evade bug them. Jump into the little alcove next to the incinerator terminal and they'll evade bug out and you can get through :]

How did you get them bars on the side of the screen?

@IITheBigsII It's a setting in the user interface menu of your preferences. At high levels, you'll find that you'll more than likely need these bars, and it's possible to bind them to certain keys, so you can be super effective with all your abilities. I'm a clicker, though, so I just click those abilities for PVP stuff.

for the 3:43 pipe jump make sure to be as far back as you can before falling on the pipe and make the jump from there otherwise you hit the lamp before even jumping just when you are plase press w and right away jump, i did it this way and worked

With the light you are having trouble with on 4:32, I found it easier if you aim at the wall the light is attached to. Sort of like a basketball, if you aim at it correctly, you should end up on the neck of the lamp.

I found out that the shadow town datacron is easer if you jump at a diagonal with the pipe and the light, until i did that i always overshot the pipe or the light.

To make the small light on the strength datacron easier, turn your character backwards and jump backwards with sprint OFF. works every time. ;D

@KrugerrandCash you have full mission log -> 25. Drop some missions and try again. Picking up datacron is a mission (which you recieve and complete in that one conversation)

SHADOWTOWN Datacron jump... 4:34 in the video... This took me forever until I learned the trick. You just run over it. Trust me, this is like a tmnt 1 for NES jump. Trust me, don't even jump, JUST RUN (angled slightly to the right, at the wall) and you will either land on top of the light thing, or on the ledge surrounding it. Trust me... I figured this out after an hour on this stupid datacron.

the 3rd one here (str) is a nightmare - my toon constantly overshoots the pipe bit you said YOU had issues with. I've currently 'given up' to save the life of my monitor lol. Myabe I'll go back to it at some point. Btw - best vids ever - good explanations and MAPS!

@BritGirlJay i know the part you are having trouble, it took me a while to get it right.

Right when you are in the pipe and are trying to get to the circular one right before to jump into that small roof thingy.

well the trick is when you are on top of the pipe, press W and the spacebar at the same time, and as soon as you are about to land let go of both.

For any other jump you start running before jumping, but if you do that on that spot you over shoot the plataform.

How are you able to jump so easily? It looks so smooth. It took me over an hour to just get up to the big box on the first jump for the first datacron you showed. There was so much lag, and my apparent inability to pressed the spacebar in time...any tips?

@DetourK First thing's first. Turn off sprint. Sprint may seem like it'll make you jump further and higher and all those wonderful things, but in reality, it just makes the jump a bit harder to do. If you turn it off, you have more time to RUN AND JUMP, rather than JUMP AND NUDGE FORWARD. If you press W before your jump, you'll jump further. Sure, that may seem like an obvious thing, but you really want to make sure that you're running BEFORE jumping, even if it's an inch. Hope you get em.

@DetourK Honestly.... its all about your computer. What kind of fps are you getting? Any lag? I was having crazy problems (with the first datacron in particular), but then I updated my graphics card...... now everything is so smooth.

Nar Shaddaa has 7 datacrons and the yellow matrix shard.

3 are republic and 3 are empire.  the Cunning one is shared.

@thehunattila1 That specific zone has higher level quests in it, for no real explained reason, other than the fact that BioWare likes to mess with us players, and cackle as we fret about the game.

as soon i got my companion Aric Jorgan to friendly(4000 points), he asked me to go to Nar Shaddaa, the quest was a level 31 quest and it took me right to that area.

its the Bonus quest series area. Once you hit 30 or so you can do those quest. Kinda like taris had a bonus quest series (i beleive every planet after taris has bonus quest line)

@thehunattila1 those lvl 30 ish mobs are from the bonus quest series you unlock them, after you completed all your quests in nar shadaa there will be a quest giver in the spaceship departures (not the daily heroic one)

@thehunattila1 This area is part of the Nar Shadaa Bonus Series quest line, similar to Taris or Tatooine, you get a quest at higher level when you're leaving Nar Shadaa to go back in for higher level quests.

@thehunattila1 it has lvl 30 mobs on a planet that's 20-24 for the bonus series of missions. Other planets like Hoth, Belsavis and Alderaan have you returning there at later levels to do them instead of some of the others like Balmora that begin as soon as you've completed the main planetary story arc.

I just realized how poorly done this video was compared to the others. I apologize for this, folks. A few of the Datacrons were completely new to me, which is why I seemed confuzed at some bits, and there were a few bits that I just completely edited out because they were pointless.

@gweari Yes, all neutral planet Datacrons are in the same locations for both Empire and Republic.

@iLLituracyT I don't think they are because I can't get to some of these sectors from the looks of it in Nar Shadda. For example, when I went to the area for Presence, I couldn't get into the red light sector.

@Berengier817 After talking with some members in my guild, and some people from the Empire, both Republic and Empire side can confirm that you can get this datacron, along with the others on the neutral planets. So, I'm not sure whether or not the area is level restricted, or if it was just a minor problem on your end. If the problem persists, try making a ticket to clarify with BioWare on why you can't reach this datacron, because you should be able to.

@iLLituracyT The thing is, I can't get into that area. It's off limits to me. Like, there are certain areas on the Republic side off limits to the Empire and vice versa. If you search on here for Nar Shaddaa Datacron Empire you will see there are a few different Empire Datacrons on Nar Shaddaa. I actually got them all last night and none were set up like any of these.

@iLLituracyT If you actually look on the map at the beginning of the video, you said you were in the Nikkto sector. Just south of that is the Corellian sector. I can't get into the Nikkto sector from the Corellian sector. However, the Aim one for Empire has us ride one of those flying hover cars up to it in the Corellian sector.
