One night I was walking home from Brigus, and I saw a UFO hovering over the hill by the Tunnel. I did not know what to do and I swear that whatever it was it was trying to get me approach. The light was blinding and the UFO was about 60 feet diameter. It stayed about 5 feet above the ground. Finally more people are starting to see what I saw. I also think that I was hypnotised by these aliens who were on board but I do not tell people that part in fear they would think I was strange.

whats the negative like. i mean when astronomers look at the night sky they look at the negatives dont they that way they get a clearer pictuer just a thort : )

My question is:If it was really foggy,How would you see lights in the sky?Has the fog thinned out a bit since I left there.Lol,its actually funny for people to say we get planes out on Chance Cove Barrens all the time.Where is the freaking runways if they are flying that low in fog are they 757's or what?
It was breaking through the fog. The fog wasn't at road level, it was slightly higher. You could see the light and it wasn't a strobe light or blinking like normal plane lights would. The lights were going in a circular motion and every now and again, it seems like some of the light "rays" caught the fog enough that it seemed like they were search lights coming out from it but would disappear for awhile and then come back.
To say nothing exciting happens in Trepassey is a bit uninformed.We do have a Federal Loran C station in that area.Unless it has been removed last time I was home it was still in tact.That was Sept past.Air planes would not be flying low in thick fog unless they had to land.Usually lights on wings and strobe.Hellicopter maybe?Again Aircrews don't like fog unless they can see to take off or land.they usually fly above,around or underneath not usually in it.
I can honestly say it was not an airplane. My camera makes it seem further away then what it was. In video mode on my camera, I can't zoom in. Like I said it was really foggy and I wasn't in that area in years so I shot an unidentified "flying" object (as it was in the sky but not high enough up to be a plane and I didn't know what it was for the short time that I seen it.).
dude i live in newfoundland and that is not a UFO it is a plane i see them all the time, sorry to let u down..... and if it was a ufo it would of been gone now instead of goig slow in a straight line
the image may be blurry, even when lightened a bit, but theres no way you could capture footage that steady of a plane in the sky without a tripod, and its jsut a bit too irregular movement to consider a tripod even. besides, what kind of plane has search lights? and waves them around in the middle of a flight??
and helicopters are def out of the question as well. a man standing on the ground who can capture footage that close with a camcorder would certainly be able to hear a helicopter, sound usually travels faster through fog. whatever military or secret ops helicopters with silenced heli blades certainly wouldn't have lights showing either
