Dr. Ron Paul Town Hall Meeting, Anamosa, Iowa 09/18/2011

Is Ron Paul intended to abolish intellectual property & patent rights? They're actually privileges granted by the State to few people/corporations to explode a niche market & deter any possible competition. Such privileges are a clear violation of the laws of free market. They are not properties at all, otherwise why patents would only last 10 or 20 years and IP limited back to 19th cent? Patents also block further research by others, & the bureaucracy needed is a huge burden on the economy.

Hurray for Anamosa. The Buffalo Ridge Rd northwest of town is the most beautiful 20 minute drive in the county. I hope my old friend Russ was at that event. We've been rooting for RP for decades now.

@deadballo Of course they do. There wouldn't be much point in traveling across the state holding these meetings unless there were. I had the chance to speak to several of them myself that evening. Really is interesting to hear of the misconceptions people had about Ron Paul before they came to hear what he had to say. Of course, most of their misconceptions were the same ones I had before I decided to listen to him instead of somebody else's interpretation of what he says. :)

Have you guys seen the news report on the "An endorsement for fairness in dealing with Ron Paul"? If you haven't seen it yet, you will LOVE it! You are both most welcome! I don't know where you are from, but I do tend to forget that most the country doesn't get these early opportunities to see the candidates like we do in Iowa. I've been fortunate enough to see Dr. Paul at 3 events so far. No one compares with him in any way. American people say that they are done with the spending, the wars and loss of our liberty. I hope they put their vote where their mouth is on January 3rd in Iowa and beyond!!!

End the crime families that profit from the criminal federal Reserve Bank creating false compounding natinal debt that sucks the blood and resources out of america.
