The video says that i have to connect my Ipod and do the redsn0w part whenever I reboot my ipod... So,

After jailbreaking, I downloaded many apps from 'utorrent'.. I installed like more than 200 apps and they worked but after using the apps i accidently powered off my ipod without connecting it to the pc and doing the redsn0w part

now its stuck at the apple logo part( In the beginning ) for 2 days... I tried to powered off it but it doesn't help, So help me out plz

You can update to 4.2.1 with no problem, then jailbreak with this tutorial, but it's tethered.

it's a new boot (MC) and the firmware is 05.12.01.

I have jailbroken it before but I'd like to upgrade it (on untethered so not necessarily this one, i don't want to plug in my iphone to restart it)

PLUS i don't have an IPSW, i looked in the folder and there's nothing there. What should i do? how do i get an IPSW?

Please help, i'd like to get to 4.0 or 4.1. safely.

@pipster06 In your case 4.1 would be your best bet. The best way would be to Google Felixbruns and download 4.1 and then restore it onto your device. Then use limera1n or greenpois0n.
