I agree, I too am a fan of both franchises, but the game just seems a bit "bland", there is no "wow" feature in it(like in previous MK games). I mean some of the fatalities and brutalities that I have seen juse don't seem as creative as they used to and the atomosphere of the game almost seems "boring". But that is just my take on it

There is a disclaimer in the boot of all games that says that online play will be unrated, or whatever. So that probably means there will be fatalities if you're playing a Euro player.

Here's how it works. The game is rated teen and so some of the more 'gruesome' fatalities are being censored for America for the teen rating. However, in the UK, Austrailia and some Europe countries, our teen rating is 16 so we're 'old enough' or more 'mature' to witness the more 'greusome' fatalities. It does have online play so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I guess they'll just have it how it is for both usa and europe. one can see the gory goodness while the other cant lol. Even though it's rated Teen, being a huge MK fan, I can ge tpast the lack of gore. I'm really looking forward to the gameplay, the story and the juicy boobies of Sonya and Catwoman :P But as I said, MK isnt just about gore. I'm sure these MK haters will love the game once they play on it. I've got mine pre-ordered. :D

This is so stupid, if each char has two bru/fa-talities that means that when ever one person does a fatality the other can't they'll jus end-up wit a blank screen. The Gore has always been the very best part about MK-then of course the Boobs. Oh, and the story was important2 I guess. Though a I'm concerned about this new story for the game along wit Kitana's return and the gameplay.

The gore, for me was only half of MK. The story is orgina and great. Kitanas return is nothing special. It's just a round up of the most recognised MK characters and DC characters. I don't think it's part of any story. Just a one off.

Dude, U R so late. I left that comment over a month ago when the game still hadn't come out and Midway was talking about either creating new or censoring the fatalities and even some brutalites(such as Supermans) because the American Teen rating is under 16 unlike the rest of the world.

BTW U can only do fatalities if U win, not if U lose.
