  • i proud to be bengali and its culture.....which i have never seen anywhere

  • missing d sound of Dhaak stayin away frm Kolkata during Pujas :(

  • It makes me feel proud to be a bengali........... I really feel like crying staying abroad during durga pooja

  • Pujo ... round the corner : )

  • I love this traditional drum of Bengal, and respect people like dhaki Gokul chandra Das (Habra,Asutosh colony, near railway station,North 24 parganas,West Bengal), who is doing his best to preserve this art of playing the Dhak. There are many dhakis today who struggle to make ends meet and therefore choose other alternatives to earn a living.
