I remember when I was a huge evanescence fan the whole WATF/Carly thing was a big deal, this was a few years ago and I think Carly's very talented and i don't think she's trying to be Amy. Maybe I'm biased because I love evanescence but perhaps it was just coincidence that she sung an evanescence song and then formed a group with ev band members. Evanescence are equally as fantastic without the old band members, and are much more successful than WATF, Although they are very good though.

Amy Lee is a horrible drama queen. I can totally understand no one wants to work with her. Accusing multiple people of sexually harassing her, writing music for The Chronicles of Narnia, while no one asked her too. She seems a bit of an "odd" person to me...
I must say that Amy has a more reconisible voice, but personally I've always found it a bit too much to listen to (after a few songs) if a voice is so dominant in music (same thing goes for anastacia, christina aguilera=dominant voices)
You know, I like both of them. Amy does have a better live voice, but I did like "Bury Me Alive" a lot more than "Together Again." I guess I'll just have to listen to both albums before I make an ultimate decision. Amy Lee is great and all, but she seems like a bit of a diva... I've never even seen pictures of the new band members on their myspace, website, etc. I hardly hear any "Fallen" style to Amy's music anymore, and it saddens me. The Open Door was not my favorite album, to say the least.
The reason for that, would be because the people who wrote fallen she kicked out of the band, now they are "we are the fallen" which is why it sounds so similar to evanescence's first album. I would not be suprised if amy wrote my immortal from fallen. Because in looking up their past, I found that amy did write a few of the songs, but most were written by moody. Amy just sung them for him.
So in a since its kind of the same situation, just with a new voice.

You people have only heard Bury Me Alive apparently because in the rest of that album she didn't sing like Amy Lee, why Bury Me Alive is so evanescence esque I don't know why, it's still a good song but that is basically the only song she sounds like amy.

Amy Lee is a horrible drama queen. I can totally understand no one wants to work with her. Accusing multiple people of sexually harassing her, writing music for The Chronicles of Narnia, while no one asked her too. She seems a bit of an "odd" person to me...
I must say that Amy has a more reconisible voice, but personally I've always found it a bit too much to listen to (after a few songs) if a voice is so dominant in music (same thing goes for anastacia, christina aguilera=dominant voices)

You know, I like both of them. Amy does have a better live voice, but I did like "Bury Me Alive" a lot more than "Together Again." I guess I'll just have to listen to both albums before I make an ultimate decision. Amy Lee is great and all, but she seems like a bit of a diva... I've never even seen pictures of the new band members on their myspace, website, etc. I hardly hear any "Fallen" style to Amy's music anymore, and it saddens me. The Open Door was not my favorite album, to say the least.

The reason for that, would be because the people who wrote fallen she kicked out of the band, now they are "we are the fallen" which is why it sounds so similar to evanescence's first album. I would not be suprised if amy wrote my immortal from fallen. Because in looking up their past, I found that amy did write a few of the songs, but most were written by moody. Amy just sung them for him.
So in a since its kind of the same situation, just with a new voice.

i remember watching this on TV and thinking she's so good and so cool. but i agree with other people she should start a new band or go solo cuz this whole We Are The Fallen having 3 out of 4 members being ex-evanescence members is too fucked up.
