@misscaitlynmar doesn't look like it no. Snakes tend not to eat close to shedding time. Shedding makes them pretty vulnerable, having food in them makes them extra vulnerable. They often refuse food shortly before a shed, but afterwards they have a good scoff.

They shed their skin because they grow too large for it.

Humans shed their skin in extremely small pieces, (dust and such) but reptiles shed all at once.

Reptiles will grow another layer of skin beneath the old one, however, most reptiles eat the slough afterward. (it still has nutrients)

If I'm wrong, please correct me, but I do work with snakes and teach others about animals, so I hope that I'm not wrong.
