  • @basehead617 Yes it is. Its originally (at least on the record) in E flat and its been sped up to the key of E

  • Just found out this was at number 1 when i was born. Just thought you guys would like to know a little bit of useless information there (:

  • I love that "Wooow" at the begining of this version!

  • I'll never understand why this movie didn't catch on... I thought Phil Jonau did a pretty good job.. there was such a distate for this film, that even Bono and his mates, during the middle of the premier got up and left the theater.. this is definitely a cool clip..thanks for posting!

  • is it only me who see this song as a drug advertisement? I tell you my rehab was like hell!

  • Budapest 1988-1989.suvenyr

  • The coolest band of all time!

    It rocks!

  • is this video sped up? looks fast and song sounds higher than i recall

  • No one's probably gonna read this, but I’ll say it anyway cuz I feel at least 1 person will. I'm a young designer and graffiti artist, I know there's a million out there but I feel like my art has a unique individual style.

If you just take a min and give me a chance I'll make you a believer. I would love nothing more than to have a loyal following on youtube. If anyone who reads this could press the "THUMBS UP" others will see it. Just a simple button push will make a huge difference.

  • Lillywhite or Eno/Lanois (whoever recorded this) should've mastered and released this version. Much, much better than the released studio version on the album.. To heck with "mistakes". This is just amazing!

  • Happy Birthday The Edge (August 8)

  • i love this song

  • I remember this band, at least my earliest recollection of them is 1979 late to early 1980!

    socal

  • Mullets!

  • I agree with the comments made by Furious Fang, way to many times I see weird and useless comments our downright critic behaviour without a opinion.

Finaly someone who knows how to make a point, and serves good information.

  • Ohhh Larry, your so hawt ;D you haven't changed at all! U2 makes me proud to b part irish! babbyyyy galway!!! dessiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire!

    socal

    girl

  • Such a cool group!

  • @QMPhilosophe have you gone mad??

  • love this video .. thanks. i remember this time so well and the traffic jam they caused here in l.a. with their surprise roof top performance

  • Imagine the acoustics in that building...

  • @lanufaatasi actually this is most likely the look they were leaning towards, because at this time, they were very spiritual.

  • perfect

  • what a piece of grade A ass

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • Rattle and Hum pisses all over The Last Waltz as both concert movie and documentary. Sort of.

  • @adamtzsch Have you heard any of there new songs? I hear that they'll be playing them at there upcoming concerts. 'Hope there good, like HTDAAB good.HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB.

  • Can any one tell me why they were laughing during the interviews, was it simply because they were at a loss for words?

  • @mmkaviator I think its just reflective of what a good time why where having that sort of immaturity you have around your mates. The point of it is that everyone expected them to be real hard working stern musicians after the success of the Joshua Tree but they where just a bunch of mates, having a good time.

  • @CharlieeeBeee Ok, some one told me they were laughing at the guy interviewing them, but I don't think so.

  • @mmkaviator They were laughing at him because they're paying him.

  • @adamtzsch Oh, I see

  • Well.. maybe I'm wrong, but I figured out, that in the part "She's the money', bono sings like this instead:

    She's the dollar

    I must blow him

    She is a far, far,

    Baby, see, I'm going

I can see with a thousand of dollars

how could you barren one hundred million dollars

for love or money, money, "monkey money"

is really this or I've heard wrong? :)

  • WOW!I love this video so much I played it over and over again.

  • Where was this scene filmed? What kind of building is this or what did it used to be? I love the acoustics of this space. I would like to hear any info regarding this building.

  • @voxhead123 It's in Dublin, but I don't know which building it is... On the DVD they said exactly that: that they recorded it here because they loved the acoustics...

  • @Moseleytube I am sorry, but you are a moron... hahaha

  • @ ‎"Minimalism," "Revolutions," and "Eliminating Desire" - Marky Mark Zuckerberg Ceo Facebook founder and Revolutionist. ~ shaping minds.. even if it takes out of context to your misery.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHANGE YOUR NAME OF YOUR BIKE, IF ITS STILL ON THE ROAD.

  • @Moseleytube My bike has DVLZ DNC on the plate...... Devils Dance.

  • @Moseleytube I guess names reflect what your interests are. My bike is named after a Star Trek ship, the Defiant.

  • you're right smithryansmith!! i like this version better!!

  • Just for clarification George Thorogood did not write "Who do you love" (Also written by Bo Diddley) and the Rolling stones did not write "Not Fade Away"(written by Buddy Holly and Norman Petty). Nice vid, thanks for postin

  • I wonder if some of the movie photography here was inspired by The Good the Bad and The Ugly !!!!
