a) Zidlicky has more fighting majors than Kunitz. b) Zidlicky instigated the fight by corsschecking Kunitz in the mouth, then dropping his stick and giving Kunitz two gloved punches. c) Zidlicky gave "an obvious sign" that he wanted to fight by dropping his stick in order to punch Kunitz.
