this english version doesnt got nothing on sandford and son red foxxis a comedian pioneer r.i.p foxx still making people laugh 32 years after the series finished now tell me the english version does that i think not american comedians are just that more brilliant with there jokes and overall better comedians

Of course the English version is still popular, the DVD's sell in their millions. Wilfrid Brambell is far better than Redd Foxx any day of the week as well.

I like the older episodes these were the ones that redd foxx wasnt showing no effort it looked like he was looking at a dummy card on every scene the older shows was great even his voice sound diffrent I think the newer episodes wanted to show case aunt esther more
