  • HI mum, it's Cameron!

  • I heard it like that...... but faster.

  • Good editing, love the dynamics in this piece :)

  • It's spelled "rondeau".

"Rondo" is a Classical musical form, not a Baroque musical form.

  • @plugee

They both involve repeating a theme. I always thought that rondeau and rondo were just regional spelling differences, just like courante and corrente.

  • finally an authentic version :)

  • @DeMars3 In what way authentic? The style of playing or pace or what? Just interested to know.

  • @Lancastrian83 Everything.... It's very light in manner of playing, and not so forceful as are many of the other performances I have heard. Well, I'm not certain it's "authentic" as I say, but I really like it nonetheless.

  • This is the theme that Benjamin Britten borrowed to compose his Young' Persons' Guide to the Orchestra isn't it?

Good to hear this beautiful piece.

Thanks a lot for sharing this with us!
