@darkdzire4sephiroth He didn't lie, his memories got screwed up because of the Jenova Cells in Zack's blood, and he took on Zack's personality and memories until TIfa fixed them in the original. He was saying what he thought was the truth.

@darkdzire4sephiroth They didn't give Cloud a blood transfusion from Zack! The blood Zack puts on Cloud when he dies. Because of the mako poisoning, Cloud's entire mind collapsed because of his low self-esteem, and the Jenova Cells they gave Cloud during the experiments copied everything Zack said and did and his personality. So when Cloud came out of Mako Poisoning, he thought he was Zack, someone he admired and wished he could be. So that's not lying.
