thanks but i still have a problem. when i try to download games like Call of duty world at war and Fallout3 there is spot to be a pop up that saids install but nothing happends. if anyone knows anything about this please comment on my page thanks.
One of the many ways that viruses propagate is by installing themselves onto things like thumb drives. The conficker virus spread in such a manner. Then when a user puts his/her thumbdrive into a non infected machine that has autoplay enabled, BAM they get a virus. You may also want to keep annoying windows from popping up whenever you put in a CD. I hope this helps.
lol sorry for coming out like all mad and that, but I am pretty bad cause, My CD Drive doesnt work anymore, the autoplay is disabled, and when I enable it back it still won't work when I pop any disks in.
ooh and When I boot it up it sometimes says theres an error, click this to repair and such I click it, nothing happens it flashes and goes back to screen of 2 choices.
Repair
Start windows as normally.
My only choice is start windows as normally, and I cant work CDs or any discs anymore.
I'm sorry you are having issues with your CDROM. One way to determine if your CDROM is actually defective or if it's just an operating system problem is to boot from a Linux Live CD. I suggest Ubuntu because it's probably the easiest. If everything works on Ubuntu then you know that it's a settings issue. You'll need to download and burn the Ubuntu cd from a known good computer. What OS are you running? What exactly is the error when you boot and at what part of the boot does it happen?
hey, how to i enable it?
