@justmy10cents yes i heard of that bill and it is very stupid. just another way the government try to control peoples everyday life. i say if you're an adult you should be able to make your own decisions in what you eat. just like the government's ban on raw milk. live and let live. laws and bills are just the government's scare tactic to say they want it taxed so they can get a cut. this food this lady grew i'm sure is much better then you can get at any store or market.
@kellydjelly true and i agree with you was just leting her know thnx for you comment the gov. wont stop me either i'm growing inside:) i've hurd oil to go to 200 a barrel 5.00/gal. gas agian food prices will sore hope everyones stocked up god bless
I own a small farm here in Michigan. Here is some bad news for those of us who grow and sell organic foods. These very bad bills HR 875, HR 759 are being pushed by Democrats. These will destroy small farms if passed.
Great idea, but what do you do when the cop car pulls up and says, "This neighborhood's not zoned for this," or "Where's your license?" or "Can I see your permit?" What do you say then?
How is this diferent than selling old clohes? Its no different than a garage sale lol...she is not doing this daily its mearly here overstock and why make it go to waste? Also it gives others the motivation to plant them and eat more healthy ;)
@hauntee i agree with you 100%, and i know here in Tennessee if you get caught having a yard sale more then 3 a year you can get arrested. the government is so stupid. things that i already bought and paid taxes on already i cant sell. something needs to be done.
Our home owners association doesn't allow us to sell things out of our home but there is a Saturday farmers' market nearby that doesn't cost anything.
You can also barter! You don't have to sell stuff for money, you could also trade plants for others! It's a fantastic way to get some neat and hard to find perennials! It can also open the door of making new friends and checking out other people's gardens, thus getting ideas for your own. Trading information and ideas is fantastic!

Hi I think you should do another farm stand at your place again this year to sell your excess produce to the lucky locals.
