  • fuck you, you don't put the flutes part . . . :(

  • Great job, really evokes a liveliness.

  • I've watched this video like ten times today. It's probably one of the most fitting fan videos I've ever seen.

  • Very nice...great job!

  • Probably my favorite BOC track.

  • this video is so outspoken in itself.

it is so amazing, and both the music and video are perfect and i think everyone can relate to it in a different way whether it be nostalgic, or a feeling of something coming to an end"death" or when something is new, maybe as a baby getting older

  • I LOVE THIS TRACK SO MUCH it sounds like the bliss and innocence i felt as a child

  • what the FFFFFFFFFFF

  • whale queef

  • Very beautiful.

  • Absolutely not mediocre.

Excellent video, capturing the mood of this fantastic song.

  • I (L) boards of canada

  • The video fits the melody quite well.

  • I'm going to add a bit more

The feeling I get from the melody of this particular track, and some other Boards, is the sense that I'm dying peacefully - that this is what I would hear when I dye. The memories would flood in a beautiful instant. And these memories would be hazy. of simple things. A flower that cought me when I was three. The haze of that innocent time when the world was huge and everything in it was new. sensations and the bizarre abstract feeling that are wrapped in them return

  • that was beautiful man haha

the world truly was a greater place when i was 6. :(

  • wow. is that really how you feel?

  • @supravista Of all the tracks on their masterpiece Music Has the Right to Children, this is the one that struck me the most. This music peers deep in to your subconscious. I love this description of their music.

  • @skausage I agree. Thanks for the kind remark.

  • Truly great imagery here

you captured the mood of this absolutely wonderful piece of music

  • This video hella goes with the feelings that i have received from this song ^^

  • I really like the video. So long as the footage comes from a genuine place, it will fit with the music - especially in the case of music from BoC.

  • there are 2 pops in the audio in the beginning that nearly blew my ears out

  • i made it in vegas video, this was actually the first video i ever did

  • btw isnt there another part that isnt in this vid?

  • Wow this is rly great stuff, but i wonder what program you used??>.

  • Give yourself more credit. It's a fine vid!

  • proof that you should never throw away old stuff... great vid!

  • nice :) really good with this song

  • longer!

  • great job, thanks for sharing

  • captures everything BoC perfectly

  • that's awesome. very great vid and good choice of music! of course, could be longer.

  • The song's only 59 seconds long.

  • I love this song, and I dig you video!

    Very cool indeed!

Just one gripe - edit out those clicks in the begining!

  • didn,t they use a whole lot of black and white blue'''''''

  • Very nice editing.

  • Probally my favourite piece of music by boards of Canada ...Its called Duffy on a very early release.

  • when i think of this song, i think of colorful sound factories

  • Really great! Why did you cut out part of it though?

  • i love this song i just wish it was a bit longer

  • Great job!

  • nice video. love this tune

  • amazing song, amazing video.

for those who get it i guess.

  • Can I get the 'grany camera' effect with a simple video editor for digital camera?

  • the grainy camera effect was nearly entirely natural in this video. i used a fairly low end camera, and under low light conditions the grain comes naturally. of course there were a few effects that i used, and i sort of regret using these, but they appear briefly and weren't too distracting. although you can add grain (often called noise) to videos with an editor afterwards.

  • Thank you. That have respawn to my question but not entiraly. Im not a birth english speaker, its probably the reason that my question is not clear haha.

  • By grainy, I thinked you wanted to talk about your grand momy camera, like old ones. Thats a little conffusing. My question is: Can I get a camera effect like the 60s qith a video editor? You know, like your video and more clearly in the Music is Math video. This dark colors are so exited me realy.

  • Thank a fucking lot you you can understand this comment and respawn too it haha. like your job, like your mind

  • I use sony vegas video, and there are a few effects that you can use that sound similar to what you're asking for.

  • dont make anything like that ever again

  • Yeah I like this. It's very simple, which makes it effective not to mention inspiring. What equipment did you use to put this together? Are you using lots of video of FX? Good work.

  • I don't use as many video effects any more, but there are a few in this video. They are all simple just tints and a little artificial scratches (which in hindsight kind of look a little cheesy) and stuff like that. I use very simple equipment, my low end camcorder and vegas video.

  • loved it, ambiance is well interpretated for BOC.

  • thumbs down

  • the zooming in and out works as a gimmick only. you should think harder about what motion does to the viewer, instead of just choosing one thing and forcing it on us.

  • I would agree, the effect can work well but I used it way too much and with little purpose in this video.

  • holy crap this is awesome one of the best BoC user videos ever made..yes please make another one

  • The grainy camera work really suits the BoC style of music. Check out their video for Dayvan Cowboy, very similar film.

  • i hope you get a chance to do a second version. this is well done but too much on flowers. i want to learn how to edit again, i haven't since high school. (last year) problem is i don't have a video camera. do you know of any places with stock videos that i could download to practice editing with?

    ps. keep these coming!

  • This song is kaini industries, the last part of the song is very different. and although it's quite nice i couldn't imagine imagery to match it. I think I could now, I've gotten better since I've made this.

  • i love this song!

@crunchsixfoe: THIS SONG IS KAINI INDUSTRIES!

by the way: the last seconds are missing ^^

  • this song is not kaini industries !

  • really good, but that loud noise in the beginning is OBNOXIOUS

  • Very good for a first try.

  • i like it bro_ good editing

  • This was more of an editing excercise than a movie.

  • 'Tis rather good!

  • It's pretty good.

  • My first BoC music video. It seems pretty bad, and I'll probably re do it one day.
