Thanks for your compliments; mache would be excellent - both strip and pulp methods. Mountains- tightly crumple newspaper into a mountain shape ,use lots of masking tape (Dollarama) to secure it - looks like a mummy. Cover with white glue, cover with 1/2" or wider strips of paper&glue, really pressing down to adhere it to the crumpled newspaper "mummy". Use 3 or more layers, then cover with glue again, then pulp, let dry,paint, urethane etc. I would love to see the results!
