  • Yup, I'll donatew more money to the defenseless fishermen that egotistical eco-terrorist endangered. I cannot believe nobody sunk yet that sanctimonious pirate.

  • kill them all Sea Shepherd, now I'll donate more money, maybe some guns too.

  • Not a smart move while at sea...What kind of captain would think this is ok? He should be stripped of his license and face charges. How about sabotage when in port instead. Be creative. Why endager peoples lives when there are perfectly safe ways to cause problems? These guys have a noble cause to fight for, but might be a little too hooked on drama, especially when the camera is rolling. The sea is far too unpredictable for this kind of stupidity...silly stupid.

  • the us government should've supplied that anti whaling ship with some big ass cannons.

  • although i dont agree with whaling i would have sunk that activists ship !!

  • Just build a fast mini sub than can lay a cable prop foul. Simple. Whats so hard about that? These guys are bozos.

  • Fuck it, Im all for the good guys doing evil shit to win!!! The bad guys have been doing what ever the fuck they like and laughing as the good guys are constrained by laws.

It's about time the ends justified the means. Fuck em all, run em the fuck over.

"But that will make us no better than them" you say... SO FUCKING WHAT. I do'nt wanna be better, I wanna win.

  • FUCK YOUUUU WHALE AND FUCK YOU DORRRRFIN

  • DAMN YOU COW AND CHICKEN!!

  • Sea Shepherd, alright! :)

  • If whaling were endangered than the japanese whaling industry would decrease thier killing rates to accomadate that issue. They,er not stupid they know the whale count better than the anti whaling buffoons sniveling at thier doorstep. They make a living from it and arent about to jeapordize thier living. And i dont need to hear from any of you ball babies crying about the poor poor whales and thier plight. Its crap and the reality of it is theres not a problem.Shut up before you talk.Oh boo hoo.

  • @mastersduhgree Your wrong. A perfect example of this is the Mediterranean Blue Fin. Everyone knows their numbers are critically Endangered but the Japanese pushed hard to keep the Blue Fin from being listed as this because of the Japanese hunger for Blue Fin. The spokesperson in NZ for the Japanese Whaling industry Glenn Inwood has said the Whaling has nothing to do with Research or numbers but to do with "Food security". So i guess we all should be concerned.

  • @442hokey but the asians are over fishing the whales they r not allowing the species to repopulate

  • @paintballer7171986 Trust me - I'm very anti whaling, I was just trying to put it into the perspective of the Japanese fisherman - not the companies that make millions off this.

  • I'd love to see the reaction if Watson and his sea terrorists (I actually hate whaling, but this is what they are) tried to pull this crap on the crab fisherman in Alaska (the "Deadliest Catch" guys). Not only would those crabbers sink the sea shepherds in about 5 minutes, but most of America would freak out on them, too! My point is, the Japanese on those ships are just doing a job in their own eyes - sea shepherds are destroying their lively hoods.

  • @442hoeky Not in them little shit boats they would not. lol

  • @SCD4 Trust me, those crab fisherman are armed (and if they're not, they would be in a hurry)! They wouldn't hesitate to board the sea shepherds, either. You see how mad they get when they think another boat has hauled one of their pots to see if it caught anything? lol Anyway, I hate whaling, was just trying to put into perspective.

  • Everything is a calculated risk. From crossing the road to driving your car. If i saw someone beating an animal to death id stop them. Even to the point of giving that person a good beating myself. The Japanese need to leave the Whales inside the IWC designated Whale Sanctuary alone. If this means they need to be stopped using force but not injuring anyone then so be it. Every day police ram other vehicles to stop criminals. The Japanese are poaches. In Africa they would shoot them dead.

  • You guys call this slamming? HA! Well those poachers got it soft.

  • I'd like to see the Japanese open up with 5" guns.

  • The word is "their", not "there. It's really not difficult

  • @jjaus As in, "They're over there in their car." :)

  • ...and it's easy to condemn someone who's motivations are unknown, but then Paul Watson and the rest of his kind aren't subtle about it. They deserve whatever retribution come their way.

  • Paul Watson should have been tried as a terrorist ages ago... just because we call it 'green' then he and his ilk are excusable. People are so quick to label fisherman as evil because they earn a living from something a typical liberal idiot doesn't agree with.

  • one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, nice one Paul

  • stop killing whales you fucking asshole race your kind should all b killed i hate you guy you copy every 1 stuff than have slaves buld it for nothing to kill the use work force but i know what you are doing i know you want to rule the world never never let me tell you y if today we stop all imports from china today in 40 days you will have 50 com close there doors .. dont forget you are nothing with out our great USA

  • The guy who ran Greenpeace and got kicked out (THANK GOD) and is now being a douche bag on this ship... he's just one fucked up dude. We get it... It's sad that the whales are dying... but just wait till the Japanese get pissed at you and send a fucking battle ship after you. You wont be saying "save the whales" then... you'll be concentrating on getting the fuck out of there... Inb4canada watches some of their tax money sink...

  • @Bduke1000 it's funny when I hear comments like this from people like you, greenepeace has gone to the southern oceans and held up banners for years and somehow that didn't stop whaling...can't figure out why, banners are pretty effective at stopping most brutal violence I thought...Then comes along sea shepherd who last year sent the japanese running home like little bitches 900 whales short of their quota ...900! When you do something that awesome I'll listen to you til then shut up

  • @TheMdc78 And it's fags like you that the world doesn't give a fuck. There's a reason the government doesn't step in. They're working on another country's laws. Sorry you don't like it, but that's life. Instead of concentrating on the whales... how about you focus on stopping REAL problems... like drugs crossing our borders ect. The whales are not being driven to extinction, so why worry? I'm not for whaling, but not against it... who gives a fuck? Life will be life. Let it be.

  • @Bduke1000 I'd respond to you but you're cursing like a redneck

  • @Bduke1000 People who use drugs kill themselves and sometimes other people. I dont have a huge problem with that. Humans are the most disgusting destructive species on the planet. There are loads of groups trying to stop the drug trade. Not alot trying to stop the destruction of our planet. The drug problem isnt the biggest issue facing the planet. Humans are causing the next major extinction. But your right. Not alot of people "give a fuck" and thats the problem.

  • @Stopthegreed "the drug problem" isn't the complete cause of what's happening to our planet. It's the build up of things, and people aren't united. You get rid of the smaller problems and you begin to unite people, the problems facing the earth will change, the ones that are human related anyway. Realize, the earth is always changing. We don't control everything... we control a very small amount of it to be honest.

  • @Bduke1000 But we have plenty of laws around Drugs and drug use. Like we have plenty of laws around killing species. There was an international Ban on killing Whales. And the IWC also made the Antarctic a Whale Sanctuary. The Japanese break several laws surrounding this. Everyone knows their "research" is bogus. As for hunting inside the Sanctuary. They just say they dont care. Its really hard to stop the drug trade. Id say almost impossible. But we do what we can to stop it.

  • i thought the tsunmai killed everyone???

  • Yes it the navy of the whales ......sea shepered

  • Free Willy! LOL

  • YES YES YES!!!

  • well done for giving the whalers some hassle dont wish for any injury but putting a whaler ship in dry dock is good news for the whales dont you think

  • It should be illegal what they are doing. If you are on a boat and someone else is fishing and keeping fish they shouldnt, you cant just harass them and throw shit at them.

  • I'm all for the end of illegal whaling, but the amount of lives that the captain of the anti-whaling vessel endangered while pulling this stunt (in the Antarctic Ocean I might add, where you freeze in mere minutes after hitting the water were the ship(s) to sink) is completely unacceptable.

  • @agnosticChurchworker Im glad someone else has said this. That is pure negligence on the captain to do such a thing.

  • we should let the whalers clean and build up the fukushima reactors without protection clothes

  • this is from whale wars :P...

  • fucken idiots try to prove a point by comiting a crime

  • u guys are assholes

  • leave the japs alone its their way of life

  • @TheDan6987 but that wouldn't be 'green',would it?... liberals defend their point of view no matter who it affects as long as they're proven righteous

  • So what about the whales killed by American whalers?

  • camera man being very helpful and have a piss on the boats

  • haha whalers, failed just like in wwii

  • Boat banger racing i dont think it will CATCH ON lol and a fish joke as well im good

  • @doomdahdoomdoom The Japanese were granted permission to do research on the whales as long as they utilized all of the whale letting nothing go to waste theres a couple tons of fat and meat on a whale why let that go to waste especially when there is a market for it. The Japanese take less than 1000 whales a year its extremely doubtful they will wipe them out especially since Minke whales aren't endangered even.

  • somebody please just buy this group a wwII sub

  • From Whale Whores er Wars..

  • Obviously no one owns a boat here? The blue ship on the left should have deviated to avoid collision, the Steve Irwin was on its set course. Therefore if someone had died, the Japanese would have faced charges.

  • @troyobrien87 Yes but for starters one of the vessels is engaged in fishing so that rule doesn't apply.

Also the protesters where trying to cause a collision rather than avoid one which makes the IRPCS slightly irrelevant I think piracy laws probably apply here.

  • Greenpeace, apparently excusable terrorism.

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo Not greenpeace, its sea shepherd, and what they do is more than acceptable, more people need to act like they do

  • @TheMdc78 terrorism is terrorism, no matter the label.

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo "terrorism" is the single most meaningless word in the english language stop using it to try to make things sound bigger than they are, sea shepherd throws bottles of rotten butter, and blocks the ships from transferring whales to the processing ship, when you look at this video sea shepherd doeas not collide with the japanese vessel but only hold their ground between the vessels and the japanese run into them, so the japanese whalers are the terrorists.

  • @TheMdc78 would it not be prudent to stop them from cathing the fish as aposed to stop unloading the fish that is aready dead ??

  • @GeorgeVeld They do their best, at minimum the japanese have 4 ships down there, 3 for haprpooning and one for processing, sea shepherd for years only had 2 and at the most have had 3 trying to stop them. But in a way the answer is no, if you prevent the processing they will not kill anymore because they are wasting time and energy, the best strategy is to sit right off the slipway of the processing ship and fend off harpoon vessels, when they know you won't move they stop

  • @GeorgeVeld You may also be interested in knowing that this year the Japanese gov't diverted $27 million in relief funds for the tsunami to beef up security in the whaling fleet employing security vessels on top of the original fleet, because they refuse to back down to sea shepherd, this is what they openly admit. In the meantime dozens of tons of whale meat sit frozen in giant freezers in japan because it does not sell anymore, they are selling off stock from years ago still.

  • @TheMdc78 so it's perfectly acceptable to interfere with the living of someone working within the system because you think the industry is evil.

    Interesting.

One wonders how many items are owned by people who have no clue where they came from. If your opinion is indeed correct, then a great many people are due to stand in judgment. But typically, no other response than just plying labels will ever serve as justice.

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo Not because I think its wrong, because the whole world knows its wrong. The Japanese are in violation of an international treaty banning the whaling that they are doing, if Australia sent down warships and sent the Japanese home they would be hailed as great heroes protecting the whales that cannot protect themselves, but they won't step up so sea shepherd does, australia doesn't stop them and norway lets them fly their flag, two of the most progressive countries on earth

  • @TheMdc78 Then accountability should be placed with the inactive governments, not in the hands of self appointed "vigilante" dogooders who openly attack other people - regardless of reason, because they disagree with the situation as it is. The video above is clearly an attack on another vessel using destrutive means, and one wonders if the attacking vessel had contingency to rescue the other crew in teh even of catastrophic events. What if one Japanese sailor died? Is that acceptable?

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo Again in this video the Japanese ram the sea shepherd vessel not the opposite way, non intervention groups such as greem peace get nothing done, no one cares about banners and complaints. There are stipulations in the treaties about whaling that if a gov't cannot enforce the whaling ban then private organizations are allowed to, do you think any country would allow sfae harbor or their flag to be flown on a terrorist vessel?

  • @TheMdc78 So, they're response to an attack is to render assistance in the event of life jeopardized from an incident instigated by these terrorists? ...and I assure you, Greenpeace by no means "non-intervention". In which case, the whaler should be allowed to defend itself with as much impunity. Provocation warrants response.

In any case, it's still a matter of "vigilantes" taking matters into their own hands, No matter what the cause, it's still instigating violence...

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo You're opinions are valid and common enough, I personally feel however that corporations use their connections and money to further their agendas, they lie cheat kill and steal to make money and no one has anything to say about that, then when someone stands up and does more than just protest people immediately call them terrorists, I hate that stupid word, americans just use it for anyone they disagree with, "vigilantes", maybe, terrorists, definitely not

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo Addressing the possible loss of life: Sea shepherd has crippled ships in the southern ocean for periods of time in the past and the whalers have sent out SOS's, at that point sea shepherd stops interventions and offers all and any assistance they can, if a whaling vessel sank they would do everythign they can save everyone on board. However the japanese are know full well how sea shepherd will respond to these things and keeps pushing it. Its 2011, no one whales anymore

  • @TheRevJonnyNemo its seashepherd

  • dommage qu il n ait pas COULER ce pirate des baleines !!

  • Greeny piracy. Interfering with ships going about their lawful occasions.

  • @AVMamfortas Just to keep the activists busy.Meanwhile in Germany:

Murders by the German BND,the ex GESTAPO known to the public:

    Barschel(politician),Möllemann(politician),Gehring(author),Martina Pflock(political activist),Tron(internet activist),Karl Koch(political/internet activist),Bernd Seiffert(human rights activist),K.Heisig(author/judge),Fritz Bauer(persecutor of the Frankfurt Auschwitz processes),Markus Bott(human rights activist)

Google the names and check out my channel and homepage.

  • @sakoshooter48 I think my facts are pretty straight. There is an international ban on whaling. On top of that, the southern ocean has been designated as a "whale sanctuary". Under no circumstances should a fleet of Japanese vessels be down there killing whales.

  • Good Job

  • The Japanese are just doing research, morons. Leave them alone. And not only that, what ever happened to honoring multi-culturalism? Idiots.

  • @TheCannonofMohammed Research on what? the only thing the japanese have concluded apparently is "the whales are like herring"... A 12 year old could do better.

Multi culturalism? I dont think the Japanese travelled to antarctica much... not really a tradition is it then?

  • @TheCannonofMohammed

Oh really, and what have the japanese discovered that is so important? Are they researching how much people like to eat whales?

  • @Vire70 I just feel that it is wrong to impose our values on a different culture. Am I against the killing of these wonderful sea mammals? Yes! But to impose my misgivings on a totally different culture? It is worrisome. I would NEVER eat or harm a whale. But the Japanese have long looked to the seas for sustenance, and I'm not sure that killing whales is more harmful than the feed-lot cattle that WE eat.

  • @TheCannonofMohammed

Then you should correct your ignorance instead of commenting on things you don't understand. Whales, as large mammals that are quite long lived, mate with one another only sporadically. They have very low birth rates. When you introduce mass killings of them like the Japanese have been doing for a while, it seriously stifles their population. Many are already endangered, and many other marine animals have become extinct from the same thing. Cattle are at -no- risk at all.

  • @Vire70 Is there any greater arrogance than calling people who honestly disagree "ignorant"?

  • @TheCannonofMohammed

My comment contained no arrogance. You admitted to not knowing the effects of killing whales; that is your ignorance. And you have asserted an opinion on the matter despite not knowing; how can you honestly disagree with me whilst not understanding the situation? Who here is really arrogant?

  • Comment removed

  • @random4052 It is naive to think that the navies of the world are there to police illegal activity all around the globe. Governments will only respond if their territory or citizens are threatened, if there is economic impact, or some large-scale humanitarian consideration where the UN gets involved.

Japan's illegal whaling doesn't meet any of those criteria. In fact, for a gov't to chase them around the southern ocean would be very expensive and would only hurt trade relations with Japan.

  • So let me get this straight... the idiot activists would put human lives at risk to save a handful of whales? There's a group that has it's priorities seriously screwed up. These people are nothing more than pirates and deserve a prison cell more than the whalers they are against.

  • @mvolesky1 you are spot on :)

  • High Seas Terrorists and Pirates.

  • fuka yuuu dorufin anda fuka yuuu wairu

  • Whales : 1

    Whalers : 0

  • thats the Steve Irwin for Whale Wars on the animal planet tv channel

  • ...South Park...

  • Whale stocks are stable and rebuilt, Sea shepard needs to focus their attention on Buefin tuna, a species in serious jeopardy.

  • @matt9822 Whale stock are only 2% of what they were before humans started killing them for blubber to make fuel oil.

  • well done

  • Sorry the boat is named sea Shephard and Captain is Steve

    Good work smashing theirs boats!

  • @l12d88 no mate - the Sea Shephard was renamed the Steve Irwin, and the Captain is Paul Watson. It's owned by the Sea Shephard Convervation Society.

  • @kbdkbd99 please learn to spell fuckwit.

  • @kbdkbd99 this is very funny to me.

You came onto youtube and sought to correct someone who you felt had their facts wrong.

In fact, it was you had his facts wrong, and your attempt at being a smartass backfired in your face making you look like a fool.

Have you been on board the Steve Irwin ?

  • FACKING Japanese Whalehunters! Its Steve Martin! The black Boat!

Japanese Suckers, Thinking about money instead of saving Life's JERKS

Steve Martin, from Animal Planet Whale Hunters

  • The Japanese are researching whales with their diner plates.

  • Great, now you possibly have a pre meditated murder charge, slamming into a boat can be deadly...But thank heavens the whales live

  • @keenmachine80 what you need to understand is that the Steve Irwin chases the whaling ships. Each whaling ship has a number of support craft change their course so that the Steve Irwin must take evasive action in order not to slam into them.

Imagien driving your car on the motorway and you keep getting cut up by someone from the slow lane driving in front of you.

It's the whalers that cause these collisions, not the Steve Irwin.

  • Whalers are murderers!

  • These guys need a boat built for this stuff... one that wont spring a leak, just cause you ran over some other ship..

  • Sea Shepherd needs a ship with an ice breaker bow, and they need to learn how to say oops in Japanese Thats all.

  • Were gona need a bigger boat! lol

  • Whale Hores

  • SEA SHEPHERD FTW

  • Green peace are no better then somalie pirates.

  • @Pooshooter5k It's not even Greenpeace, it's Sea Shepherd!!

  • @davidg1504 I stand corrected. "Paul Watson's and Sea Shepherd's actions have sometimes been wrongly attributed to Greenpeace, often in an attempt by others to damage Greenpeace's reputation for non-violence. Greenpeace has never sunk a whaling ship." –greenpeace(dot)org

  • "Research" is a transparent cover story which allows them to exploit the anti-whaling law loophole. Collecting the meat to sell is the prime goal.

Note: What kind of research has a "quota"? The japanese themselves said "The Sea Shepherds are interfering with our PROCESSING of a whale on our FACTORY ship." (not "research of a whale on their science vessel"). Fact: In April of 2010, what was the foremost charge Captain Bethune was arrested for? "Obstruction of business".

  • say what you want about greenpeace etc; they have guts and they actually do something about the things they believe in when laws don't cut it.

A gold star from this armchair quarterback.

  • Fuckin idiots...what gives those dumb tree huggers the right to ram into a ship...no i do not support whaling but come on really that is just not going to work...i mean they throw crap on the japanese boats and then one of them gets injured and they freak out and say that they are being attacked...it just makes me sick how stupid people are some times

  • shoot whalers not whales

  • @kevleisa you should go to the japanese city of Shiminoseki, its the home port of the Jap whaling fleet, ive seen these fuckers selling the whale meet!!!

  • @seal1mas thank you shall view regards kev

  • It's good to see that somebody is taking some action against the illegal whaling that Japan continues to participate in.

  • @doomdahdoomdoom i dont really get who says its illegal...? if japan says it isnt illegal on international water... who can say it is?

if it really was illegal you would have coast guards and armi's going after them like the pirats in somalia..

    this is perfectly legal

  • @doomdahdoomdoom Its not illegal to whale, get your facts straight!

  • @doomdahdoomdoom Oh shut up. Not long ago we'd have just shot you and fed your bodies to the sharks. You're just a bunch of modern-day sissy-la la pirate wannabes. Try that in Indonesia, ya pansies.

  • i liked the video in which a green peace ships slams into a Japanese whaling ship a few times and then PUFF 2 snipers appear on the Japanese ship and takes out one of the green peace crew and the rest are screaming and running for cover.
