Rodney could have single handed fix the air filters, hack in to the ship's core and find a way to dial back to earth before anyone can even say "hey, whats that smell?" cuz his survival instinct is just that strong

@ssirK1994 Rodney couldn't even crack the Dhakara puzzle that Eli did, no one could but Eli and he did it in a month. Rodney was probably working on it for a while before he gave up since it did originally come from Atlantis. Rodney would of been no help and would only of added more drama, the rationing would of driven him crazy and he wouldn't of eaten any of the food from alien planets.

Sorry for replying on a year old message but I'm pretty sure he would of been no help.

@JuggyFWB Yeah, the newer Ancient Technology. Newer as in probably thousands of years after the Destiny came out. It would probably take him a while to figure out most of the stuff on the Destiny like Rush and Eli. And I never said he was useless, I stated if you look back at the comment, he was useless with solving the problem to get on the Destiny and would of complained a lot like I stated. I don't think he would of survived on the Destiny with all of the military problems and everything.

@supernovaserenity He saved everyone on Atlantis lots of times, and some of the times he starts the problem which he later has to save them from. I don't think he could do that well with technology that is even older than the Atlantis tech, he probably wouldn't of done all the risks Rush did to connect to the ship and would of been kind of a dead weight. He does do a lot of good stuff, but it is hard to say what he could of done on Destiny when, as I said before, he couldn't solve the puzzle.
