This brings back memories. We didn"t have on demand back then. We had to sit in are living rooms to see the whole movie so you couldn't miss anything.
This and Sneak Prevue are definitely the same thing for sure. I remember seeing the computer running the Sneak Prevue channel down here crash alot during the later years. It was all done by an Amiga as far as I know.
Sneak Prevue is my favorite cable television network. This is where I got my creativity from. I love Sneak Prevue so much that it inspired to create my own Pay-Per-View listings.
This sort of reminds me of The Weather Channel's WeatherSTAR system as well as the TV Guide Channel's "ProgramSTAR" system (a fake name I came up with). My guess would be the "Pay-Per-ViewSTAR" for this station.
what channel are First Choice, REQUEST?, VC, TVN, CVS?, you have a preview or promotian spot of theses channel? my cable company offered, (RIP both company) REQUEST TV, and i love the promotion spot, including the logo. are more uniform over other cable channel, including HBO.
I wanted to see the AVN awards, without nudity, would still be interesting. I had cable around the time Groundhog day got heavy repeats. I ordered a number of the edited softcore and 'Skin-amax' programs... Never a substitute for the adult store though! haha
Any company can start a Previews channel with a whole bunch of information on the screen. But, Prevue networks did such a good job at making them fun to watch with the selection of music and the feeling that you get when you don't know what will happen next! Give me back 1993 any day!
Fabulous, I would like to know the names of the songs used during: the "Tonight's Sched." screen, Playboy ad, and the first 0:53 secs. of this clip please. I really like these PPV things.
They are three songs from Killer Tracks of this clip. Check It Out used for the Tonight's Schedule, Nasty Nancy used for the playboy ad, and All In A Day is used for the first 53 seconds of this clip.
I'm surprised Paragon Cable did have a Pay-Per-View Previews channel, that is very similiar to Sneak Prevue. I've moved to Oregon back in 1998 and purchase Paragon Cable, where the Prevue Channel became the only channel that offers Pay-Per-View Previews of both movies and special events.
Is this the Canadian movie channel First Choice or something else? We just had Superchannel in '93 :-( . I did have the original First Choice in 1983.
This has to be Sneak Prevue. I remember this. First Choice probably made it look as it was their own previews channel. But the listings and music sound like Sneak Prevue. I don't know if I'm alone, but I miss this channel. Please post more Sneak Prevue.
This looks similiar to Sneak Prevue, not to mention it does include the music that plays on this channel, which had been played on the Prevue Channel in late 1993.
I think i have all of these tracks on my hard drive..

I love the music First Choice used too! I would like to know the name of the song used during the Playboy ad. The melody sounds really familiar.
