Sabbath used Orange amps. Should it have ever been a question if they could do metal..sabbath is the epitamy of metal! modern severely drop tuned metal is another thing, but Im sure the TT can pull it off
Gotta luv the Tiny Terror. What are the settings on the tube screamer set at? I'm trying to find a good overdrive to use with my Tiny Terror for a metal tone.

i have the exact same color in ur vid. the dimarzios really seem to carry the tone and intervals relly well. its a fun guitar, the strings are a tad stiff tho even with higher action. thats y its a good shred guitar. good for tapping. idk bout sweeping cuz thats the only thing i really seem to suck at ={
i have myn in my lap rite now. its got a decent tone and stuff. good for the value but id get lyk a hell raiser, c1 or a synister model if ur gonna get a scheter. the omen series uses a somewhat low grade wood. and the pickups that come with it kinda suck. thats y i put sum seymore duncan invaders for my bridge and cut the wire to my others and used the switch like a kill switch so i can play bucket head
I actually didn't mind the stock pickups in my Omen 6. Also, it uses basswood - admittedly, not Ibanez Prestige-quality basswood, but still good basswood. A lot of your tone will eventually come down to your amp - I just swapped my pickups to help shape my tone a little bit more.
Perhaps it's just personal taste, but I wasn't too fond of the Invaders. They had a bit of a harsh tone to them - I like high output pickups that sound full and thick, hence going with the Breed.
hmm, yea. its pretty much all on preference when ur selecting upgraded pickups or just new ones in general. Im much like an avenged sevenfold tone with that decrease in the bass tones.
I haven't personally tried the Orange cab. If you have the money/need for a 2x12, I highly recommend the Marshall 1936 cab - that was the first cab I actually tried, and if I wasn't just playing in my bedroom, I would have definitely gone for it.
I demo'd the TT alot. I was close to buying it several times. Nice unit.

I'd just like to say, you really should consider the Orange 112 PPC for this. They're just incredible.
Leviskardsen 3 years ago
Yeah, I wanna get a TT and that was the cab I was looking at, mostly because I can't afford the 2x12 version (it's $300 more for fuck's sake!)

what cab are you using? if you dont mind me askin
evilskin 3 years ago
Epiphone Valve Jr. 1x12. If you have the space and money for it, though, I highly suggest a Marshall 1936 cab.
nevertangible 3 years ago
@nevertangible Also the Avatar 2x12 with V30's is very affordable and has an amazing sound and build quality.

cool video. in the future i may buy an omen 6. do you like it? i think i will change the pickups to emg81/85. do u like this guitar?
mobild3ck 3 years ago
It should work, but personally, I'd go for the 81/60 combo in a basswood guitar. The 60 is a little warmer and it'll round off some of the treble.
nevertangible 3 years ago
oh, thanx! :)

Man really good tone! I'd love to hear some leads on that same setup

whats the tuning?
great tones man. Low and meaty.
Dicephalusband 3 years ago
This is in drop C. And I was surprised as well, even with a 1x12, it's quite thick and punchy.
nevertangible 3 years ago
is it worth it to pay the extra money to get the orange ppc112 cab? or should i go something cheaper like your valve jr.
