people have been ejected even because of a warning shot. see josh mcroberts and his missed punched/elbow to joakim noah. josh got ejected.

He should have been ejected from the game for that and should receive a 1 game suspension. Trevor Ariza did the same thing when he was playing on the Rockets year before last. He threw an elbow that didn't connect against a player on the Raptors and was ejected from the game and suspended for one game. Shannon Brown got away with it because the refs turn a blind eye to anything the Lakers do.
