Not bad for 50 yards, most people don't know how far that is for a pistol. If you were aiming at a man sized target it would have been a kill. Good job.

What distance are your sights zeroed in at? And did you have to give it a higher hold over for the 50 yard distance?

Thats pretty damn good. Unfortunately, my pistol range only goes out to 40. Rifle range, here we come.

I have a rock island 1911 compact. I think a full sized or mid sized is next on my wish list. Funny thing though. Of all the 1911's I have dealt with. (Springfield, colt 1991, auto ordinance) The Rock island has given me the least trouble. Extractor tension was right from the factory. I did replace most of the springs with wolff springs, and I did polish the feed ramp and extractor. It runs like butter. At 20 feet I can hit something the size of the palm of my hand 50 yards on the other hand...

What was the nature of the malfunction you experienced at 0:51? Round nosedive into feed ramp?

@SonarWavePulse If you are aiming at a target, it natural to hold your breath to have a steady shooting. After you pulled the trigger, again its natural to inhale some air. In this case he used his mouth to inhale. And I believe that is good.

unfortunately my range only has 30 yards for pistols. i have posted a 30 yard video using the hi point. and we are not aloud to use pistols on the rifle range. when i go to the mountains again i will have to do that. i just got back from the mountains after shooting the ps3 i will post that soon. you told me to let you know when i do that.

@1GUNTOTINGTEXAN I HAVE ONE, TACTICAL MATCH EDITION. LOVE IT. NEVER, ONE ISSUE. AND THE TACTICAL MATCH EDITION IT THE TOP OF THE LINE MODEL WITH ORANGE FIBER OPTIC FRONT SIGHTS AND ADJUSTABLE REAR AND IT WAS OUT THE DOOR FOR $750 BUCKS. GREAT TRIGGER. I WOULD PUT IT UP AGAINST ANY 1911.

Side note. Are you still in the military? I am in Germany with the Army and the only time I get to do some real shooting is some practical competitions with the German Police and other German tactical units. I can't wait until I get back to the states!!
