Yes yemaya is the mother of all races.however, The goddess herself is of African descent.Legend states Yemaya(Yemoja is the african way)was a Nupe Princess from the city of Bida. I`ve heard this song sung in an african way and it is really just as soothing.

@pensalilas I am very happy tht this beautiful African song has been Europeanized, and that the very beautiful non-traditional piano has been used to compliment her very non-traditional and exquisite voice. I think I will sing this at a local Kirtan/chant event and I will Americanize it to the fullest and best of my ability.
