dude is weird- I thought I was weird, I'm lefty and have always played righty. Lefty bass with strings reversed? Ive never seen that, I have played lefty basses in righty position just to get different sounds slapping- try it, its a blast!

I won't tell you that this vid was cool because you already knew that. Instead, I want to go right to "bass speak".....I was checking out your thumb in relation to the bass drum rhythm and counterpoints. You play the space in between very well while making sure to maintain the solid "groove" on the '1". I often think like a drummer/timbale/conga player and employ their techniques of timing in my bass playing. It adds snap, crackle and pop to the funk! Go girl!

no not tuning, just put the strings in the other way round, so he has his E string where you have your G string, and the A string where your D string is right now, so its reversed stringing ;)

thats a way to fuck up your bass. the tension on where the strings are placed are torqued at a precise caliber when they are designed. The only way you would be able to fit strings around, is if you redesign the bass completely.

Like how they do with lefty's.

i play bass and some bass players per fer the lower e string on the bottom for better control and better power notes i reverse my stings cause i hardly use the g string so i put it on top so its easier to incorporate it in my songs its not unnatural
