Although I acknowledge that in many cases it is difficult to find the exact translation, I just felt that in some parts, the translation could have been a bit more accurate. Beautiful images made in the lyrics are lost otherwise. I think they were worth preserving, even if these required some explanations afterwards.

Damn! This song brings a chill to my spine! Mom used to go through this penance. Too bad, she was too beautiful but Mr Hombre had to find something less instead. Love my dad, but the truth can't be denied. Now I am a bit like him, but in a different way and for much more different reasons. This lady has the most beautifully-nuanced tone of voice I have ever listened to. She pitches nearly every note in a different tone, always sweet but different. What makes her unique is the spread of the tone. For instance, from 1.29 - 1.51, that's probably her very best, (don't miss 'quito' and 'nido'). Fabulous.

Of course the melody and orchestration are also wonderful.

well the translation is so so, in some parts in not very acurate i hate when people don't make literal translations when is possible to do it.

I loved it. Beautiful translation. Funny part with Clinton. Although, I prefer the word picture of a more literal translation of the the phrase "tu ropa huele lena de otro hogar" (Your clothing smells like the wood from another woman's fireplace) but granted it would be difficult to translate directly and keep the lyrical rhythm as you have done.
