Sorry that you had such a horrible encounter at the dentist's office, perhaps you could have a better experience from a dentist that other people trust. If you proceed to attempt removing your wisdom tooth, I wish you all the best. Those roots are tough to remove from the bones, and it's unfortunate that dentists can not do emergency work as it comes.

I understand why you did this. I've done it myself 2 times myself because every dentist I went to itemized EVERYTHING that was wrong with my mouth, quoted me a price to fix everything, and never focused on what was bothering me at the time. I don't have 6 grand to fix my entire mouth, after insurance...fix what's wrong with my pain right now. Healthcare here in the U.S. sucks if you can't afford what ails you.
